The service was quite slow, I ordered grouper and after 20 minutes the server came to let me know that they ran out out it, so I had to change. This is my third time at the same location, maybe it is time to change venues.

The food is spectacular. We have never had a bad meal here! The space is beautiful as well.

We are glad we went as it is unique destination but honestly my wife and I did not think the food and service was what it should be. Our service was slow, our waiter seems harried, and the food good but not great.

We have dined at the Columbia many times in the past but we’re very disappointed with the food and the service. Sad to say the bread and salad were the best part of our experience.

The 1905 salad is amazing. The black bean cakes were unique and delicious. Not to forget the awesome bread. My husband said the grouper was outstanding.

The food was very good but the service, from the hostess to our servers and other servers in restaurant, were awful!!! We are frequent diners at Columbia in Celebration and were very surprised how bad the service was here. My water glass sat empty THE ENTIRE meal and our server never offered to refill it. My husband wanted coffee and our server was no where to be found. He asked another server passing by our table if he could please get some coffee and she told him no, ask your own server. We ordered churros for dessert and finally after 30 minutes they finally arrived. By that time we just wanted to pay our bill and leave. My husband told our server to give them away to another table that we no longer wanted them. The server got offended and told my husband he wasn’t the cook and it wasn’t his fault how long they took. Is this seriously the Columbia Restaurant that is usually amazing??? Sorry but this location has a long way to go.

The Columbia restaurant in my opinion is becoming like the big chain restaurants you find in touristy areas. The food is good but not excellent. The service was adequate but not exemplary. When I am in St Augustine I plan to eat at more local restaurants rather than give my money to a restaurant that has become more a big box than a relaxing pleasurable dinner out.

The service and server’s were classy. We enjoyed the crab cakes and calamari as starters. We shared a plate of paella and it was authentic to what I have eaten in Spain.

Our server was Thor and he was fantastic. It was hopping at the restaurant (not that it isn’t always!) and he handled it like a pro. Other staff , came by occasionally to clear plates and ask if anything was needed. We were sat next to the bar. Noise is to be expected.

Great food and wonderful surroundings . One of the items on our order was adjudged by the chef to not have come out right so we received an extra pitcher of Mojitos on the house..

Food was just ok, I remember going years ago and getting different table apps that were better. Only two chicken choices and not great. Sangria was weak.

The lunch was tasty. The server was not as attentive as she should have been. After bringing our lunch to the table, she did not look to see that my husband’s drink was empty. We had to bring her attention to it by calling her over.

Made the reservations two days in advance for my birthday. My fiancé and I showed up at the restaurant only to be greeted by someone who didn’t seem to want any part of us or to deal with us in anyway. We were placed at a table back in a corner and the restaurant was pretty much empty and the waitress wasn’t even wearing the correct name badge. We walked out because of the bad attitudes before we even ordered dinner.

Wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff. Food was delicious and flavorful. Very clean and on top of social distancing and mask adherence. Parking lot is an added plus in St Augustine

The service and food were very good. The only issue would be that the table spacing was fairly close (4-5 feet) and fully occupied, which made it an uneasy experience in consideration of C-19.

As a local, I’ve eaten at the Columbia since it first opened in St Augstine. My wife’s experience goes back even further since she is from St. Petersburg and has eaten at the original restaurant in Tampa. I have never had any less than excellent food and experiences at either of their restaurants. This experience was horrible! The food was terrible and nothing like the many times we have had it in the past. I know they will try to blame it on the COVID, this seems to be the default excuse every time something goes wrong. My advice is if you can’t fix a meal the way it’s supposed to be fixed, then don’t try! Or lower your prices. That meal cost nearly $170 and the 4 of us only had 1 glass of house wine each and no dessert. Outrageous.

Even while adhering to its stringent Covid restrictions and using an abbreviated menu, the food, service and ambiance at Columbia Restaurant were as good and as memorable as ever. We can't wait to return!

Food is always outstanding. The wait staff were gracious and quick.

Always love the food but what my wife ordered was supposed to have a shredded beef in it but we could find none!
Talked with waitress and she offered a different meal which we took and it was delicious!

This is my 4th time and the service and food never disappoint. Our server was knowledgable and helpful when choosing our entrees. All staff were wearing masks and tables were set the appropriate distance apart. Can't wait to go back!

The Columbia provided excellent CDC guidance, we were able to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Jen was our Server and she was fantastic! This has become one of our favorite restaurants! Highly recommended.

Great food and great service. We made a reservation and we were in and out. Nice family restaurant or a restaurant for nice date with your better half.

The 1905 salad is outstanding!
Many great things to say about this place.

The only thing unfortunate is that the tableside service (fresh sangria made at the table/1905 salad tossed in front of you with fresh lemon, etc)
has been suspended because of covid.
The food is very tasty and well worth the reasonable price.

My wife and I go here every year for her birthday.

They bring you delicious fresh bread and whipped butter as a courtesy.

We each ordered sodas to drink, one shrimp appetizer(similar to scampi but no parm, very flavorful) , the empanadas (you get 2 with a side of their hot sauce), the 1905 salad (we split) , and a cup of black bean soup each.
They brought her a personal Flan dessert and sang a birthday song for her.

Grand total for dinner: $53 before tip.

The service is wonderful each time we've gone so I try to tip well.

Make reservations or you'll wait 2+ hours to get in on the weekend.

We made reservations two weeks before and was put in the first room by the people waiting and bathroom. Server was not very good. Water glasses stayed emptied and empty salad and soup plates remained on table all through the meal. Main dish was grouper topped with crabmeat and lemon butter sauce. Came out as dry grouper with a couple of pieces of crabmeat put on top. Asked for more water, and sauce on side; you would have thought I asked the server for his right arm. Very disappointing experience don’t know if we’ll go back, so many other better restaurants around!

Very pleased with this visit and dining experience. I highly recommend open table. If we had not used your service, we faced a two hour wait for walk-in dining.

Always have a great meal at any of The Columbia restaurants, but my meal was not hot at all. Asked for a nice table and it was very drafty and busy corner. We will always go back and try again.

We have dined here many times and once again they did not disappoint. On point with everything and our server, Thor, was fantastic.

The restaurant was excellent. The waitress was very polite and really new the menu. What it was recommended by her now is one of my favorite dishes. We were celebrating our 22 wedding anniversary (during this COVID-19 is hard to go out) we felt so good with our choice. We will come back in a nearby future.

Have always been a fan of Columbia so brought visiting friends there for dinner. For the first time both my husband and I were very disappointed in the taste and quality of the food.

We met friends and had a perfectly lovely time. Great service!

Haven't been there for a year due to Covid-19. As in the past, everything this time was great. Give 5-stars to everything.
