Very enjoyable in spite of Covid fears!
Took my mother for her 60th birthday and she loved the Sunday brunch. Such a great deal
2nd time enjoying the brunch, it’s nice how they make shuttle changes to the buffet, great selection of food and extremely amazing quality.
Great spot for happy hour or dinner! Our first time there and everything was very good!
All 3 of us said it was really really bad. will never return.
There was 5 of us there on Wednesday night for my husbands 55th birthday. We had a corner leather booth which was beautiful. Our waiters name was, Jose. He was fabulous! This was our first time there and the food was out of this world. Loved the crazy fun birthday candle on my husbands peanut butter cup. I think we might have found our new favorite restaurant in Delaware. Thanks for a great experience :)
Very good meal. Service was great and ambiance was icing on the cake.
Had a great dinner! We did the Steak and Cake special they have on Mondays. What a deal! Soup or salad, entree of filet and crab cake and gelato for dessert all for $28. It was very generous portions and food was excellent. We will be back!
Clearly a popular spot in this Wawaset Park neighborhood. Went with family for their Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The choice and vast variety of brunch (buffet) items is outstanding--from superb French Toast (I had the toasted coconut) to the poke bowls, amazing seafood bar ,carved turkey and prime rib and everything in between, it's all done right. Creative alcoholic, non-alcoholic and coffee beverages round out the meal. Service is polished and friendly. Can't wait to return for other meals when we next visit Delaware! Highly recommend.
Our server was very good. Food quality was excellent- flavorful, hot, nice presentation. Drink prices were a bit high; but, otherwise, great experience. I’ll be back for sure.
The food is consistently great.... it’s a great place to dine
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The food was amazing. Service was solid. Hidden gem!
The Sunday Brunch was one of the best I have tasted. The different stations were beyond compare. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I most definitely would recommend to family and friends. Looking forward to my next brunch.
The temperature was very cold in dining room. We sat in a corner which was cozy as far as ambiance and privacy but it was only 63 degrees! At one point my husband and I kept our coats on by it was so drafty and cold. An employee turned the heat up and it only got as warm as 64 degrees by the time we left.
Another thing, my dessert took forever to arrive at our table. 20 minutes for ice cream sundae? I didn’t even want it by then. The whipped cream on the top had melted so it was a bummer. Did someone forget about it in the back? Not sure. Next time, I will skip dessert by it took so long. Our waiter, Dan was very attentive for as busy as the restaurant was. Pork chop was amazing!
Valentine’s Day prix fix menu was fantastic
Excellent food, good service. Looking forward to a future visit.
OMG-Best Valentine's Day Ever! Attended CI with a group of friends, Reservations were timely. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. The set course menu had high end choices with wine pairings that were so appropriate for the occasion and very reasonably priced. Some of the items our table ordered for course #1 were the lobster cobb salad, burrata salad, chilled Japanese spiced seared tuna; course #2- crab cake, french onion soup, steamed mussels, porchetta course #3- Filet "Oscar Feller", New England style Halibut, long island duck course #4 we decided to get one of each of the 3 desserts so we could try them all. Such a wonderful night. Special thanks to our excellent server Francis. He did an amazing job with spacing of the entrees and delivery. Great job Columbus Inn!!! We can't say enough good things about that night.
First time there. Great atmosphere. Great food.
Dinner was very good at Columbus Inn. It was the night before Valentine’s Day so it was busy with couples. The service was good and the food was enjoyable. This is a nice restaurant to visit to enjoy creative meals and fine dining.
The CI has some of the best food , service and wine list in the area . The chef is extremely talented . Menu choices are always being refreshed and the specials are always changing .
The food was delicious we had the short rib.
Nice pri fix menu
My friends and I went to Brunch. The food was great! Service great. Been there many times.... Never disappointed!
This was our first time having brunch at the Columbus Inn, we were extremely pleased with the food and price. I will definitely recommend and I will go back
Excellent meal that feels uniquely Delaware. Overall great experience.
Beautiful setting and great accommodations for occasions
Classy feel and refined decor
Chef is amazing- flavors in dishes were really heightened
Parking was easy
Service was a bit slow in getting drinks, orders.
Steak was overcooked, I believe the order was taken poorly but the rest of the flavors were on point.
Drinks a very high priced for the area and not impressive enough to merit the cost- ice not strained from martinis, etc.
This was my wife and my first night out since our son was born and this restaurant did not disappoint. The ambiance was very cozy, the service was quick and the staff was knowledgeable about food allergies. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the surf and turf raw bar appetizer and the shrimp lobster and grits and the tuna entree. All food was fantastic and reasonably priced. We will absolutely be coming back.
Should be a six star rating. Best short rib I’ve ever had. Server had no personality but was otherwise good. Everything was excellent. Prices up there but priced correctly. Nice ambience.
We had salads with salmon & chicken
Both were delicious & fish cooked to order.
Haven’t been there for a very long time. It would have scored 5 stars if the noise level was lower. We have been to noisier restaurants, but not ones that are considered to be 5-star. The food was delicious and the food’s presentation was absolutely photographic. The dinning area seemed a little over crowded and that was compounded by the fact that we sat at a table where one of the seats was on a long bench that was shared by the very next table. There may have been a better choice of tables, and we will look for that next time we go. Overall it was a pleasant experience, but lacked the intimacy of a quieter restaurant, like the Mendenhall Inn.
2 our of 3 meals were of expected quality. Caesar salad with chicken added was a problem. Instead of pieces of chicken, they plate a large chicken breast to cut up and it was severely under cooked and unacceptable. In a hurry so was not able to take the time to let the kitchen correct it but they took the cost of adding the chicken off the check. Salad croutons good but too large (almost 2" in size) and had to be cut up in order to eat resulting in crumbs flying on-and-off the plate. Would like to see them served in a more bite-size form.
Love this place , great menu , great value for the money , convenient location
WE were taken to our table right away. The buffet was spectacular. So many different foods to choose from and lots of it. Our server was very attentive and our dishes were cleared as soon as we finished with them, multiple times. Even though there were a lot of people, the noise was not deafening. Will definitely go again and take along some friends.
Soo good. I can’t wait to come back.
Food excellent! Music was slightly loud and didn't fit with the dinner area but was ok for the bar area.
We had a great meal and great service!
ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA. WE'VE BEEN LONG TIME CUSTOMERS.
The food was spectacular. Missed the usual variety of desserts, though, so we had crepes for dessert. Service was good but had to find someone to refill our coffee cups the first time, then he kept coming back. A little noisy but not bad.
My boyfriend proposed to me. They worked with him to make it a moment I will never forget! I cannot say enough good about how amazing they were! The manager came out and congratulated us as did all the staff. So glad my special moment was there!
this was an excellent choice for a romantic night out. The short rib was the best I've ever had, the cornbread was also the best. The decor was charming, service was great.
would recommend to friends and family. Will certainly go back when back in Willmington again!
