Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn
Our server greeted us quickly and was very attentive with our drinks.
We highly recommend Oak Lawn's Coppers Hawk! The food is always excellent, the wine is always good and menu wine/food pairings are spot on! Our server Laura was outstanding!
There were 4 of us dining. The only complaint would be that I ordered the 3 filet medallions for $32 and found them to be tough. Filet is never tough. I felt they were a lower cut of meat.

Our server was okay. Not the type of service I usually received from this specific restaurant. I do understand that was thanksgiving day but the restaurant needed to be prepared with more personnel. Our server brought the drinks almost two hours later. An apple juice that was in a can and a lemonade that was already prepared. He spilled the sangria all over the table and in my husband’s dish. Not sure if I want to bring my family for another big and special celebration whit the type of service I received. Very disappointed 😔
Overall we had a good experience, but we were disappointed we had to wait until about 6:55 to be seated when we had a 6:30 reservation and our whole party of 5 was there 10 minutes early
First we were put in the bar area where no one else was seated. We declined and were then given the very first booth as you enter the dining room. Had a great view of the kitchen! Realize it was busy Thanksgiving Day, but spent a decent amount of money to feel like we weren’t even in the normally enjoyable Cooper’s Hawk. Disappointed to say the least.
It took over an hour to get our entrees. We've had Thanksgiving for several years there. The restaurant was 85% full this year and the food delivery was the slowest it's ever been. In past years it was very crowded. My mother liked her Turkey. My beef dish was room temperature like it had been sitting a while after cooking. Not our favorite Cooper experience.
We arrived about 30 minutes early, but we were seated promptly. Our servers were attentive and all the staff were very pleasant. All of us enjoyed our meals. The potstickers were large enough to be a meal,.as well as the meatballs, which were delicious in the marinara sauce. The Chicken Piccata that I ordered was also flavorful, with the lemon butter sauce. My husband loved his Trio of Medallions, of which he was glad to have some left to brink home for later. Of all the food brought to our table, all were delicious, but the Meatballs in the Marinara sauce were truly our favorite dish of the evening.

My son and I have a Thanksgiving tradition of going to Cooper's Hawk. We love it.
The waiter seemed annoyed and bothered.
Waiter took forever to bring the bill. Very long wait for food as well. Table next to us was very loud.

I have to say that your wine is fabulous but the food is just ok.
Very noisy with limited places to stand while waiting and being able to listen for your name to be called. Hostess was very bland. No warm greeting or smile. Server more than made up for it. She was very friendly and accommodating. Food was also very good.
Server Adam was good. It was a little windy as the servers briskly walked away. I enjoyed my meal and definitely will return
It was my moms birthday. The food was great!!! Wait staff not so much. Our waiter never brought out any bread, we had to ask someone else. He also forgot to give the table across from us bread and water. We also witnessed another waiter talking crap about other customers loudly enough for us to hear on not one but 3 different times during our meal. We don’t know if he was having a bad day but those comments should be saved for the kitchen or parking lot but definitely not in the dining area.
Awesome service and great food! I would definitely recommend family and friends try this restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner with our daughter. Best brussel sprouts we have ever eaten and grouper was delicious. Everything was top notch. Great service too. And the wine flights were great. Highly recommend.
I have already called about my concerns both to the actual restaurant and the manager didn’t ask for my name but he said he will take care of it. Wow. I called corporate and not even a call back. This is a establishment reminds me of sprint they are not good
Overall I love Cooper’s hawk. The food was not prepared how I like. 2 of the pieces of meat were overdone. Manager refunded.
Everything was great, however, the women’s bathroom needed some attention.
We unfortunately had a horrible experience at this location and we are frequent diners at Coopers Hawks establishments as well as longtime wine club members. Although we were seated promptly, we were never approached by a server. 15 minutes passed before we were acknowledged at all and that was to ask if anyone has been to our table. We were given no place settings and the table directly behind us remained dirty the entire time we were there. It was quite disgusting. After we were finally given a server we placed our drink orders, a bottle of wine was ordered, this took a very long time to receive, and was opened at the table with one glass. The bottle was meant to be shared. She then took our dinner order. No appetizers were ordered but a salad and side dish were ordered in addition to the meals. We were waiting quite a while before I asked when I was to receive my salad. The response received was” oh I thought you wanted that with your dinner?” I said no I was looking for it before my meal. Our dinner arrived and unfortunately was cold as if sitting under a hot lamp. The salad never arrived. She decided to bring it out after I had already started eating with the wrong salad dressing. She did not come back to check on us, if she had she would have known she also forgot the side of asparagus that was missing. I asked for the correct dressing which she immediately knew I didn’t receive and she went in back to grab it. This also took an exceptionally long time. When the bill was dropped we noticed we were still charged for the item not received and asked it be removed. No clue where she went but it took over 20 minutes to get it corrected. We approached a manager after the experience and was told that he would have a talk with the server. I love all the Cooper’s hawk establishments and found this evening to be quite disappointing.
I love this location. Every time I visit this location I always get Gigi’s service. There was a lot of good energy in there.
More room or better organization with the wine tasting, can never get in
