Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn
Everything was great, however, the women’s bathroom needed some attention.
We unfortunately had a horrible experience at this location and we are frequent diners at Coopers Hawks establishments as well as longtime wine club members. Although we were seated promptly, we were never approached by a server. 15 minutes passed before we were acknowledged at all and that was to ask if anyone has been to our table. We were given no place settings and the table directly behind us remained dirty the entire time we were there. It was quite disgusting. After we were finally given a server we placed our drink orders, a bottle of wine was ordered, this took a very long time to receive, and was opened at the table with one glass. The bottle was meant to be shared. She then took our dinner order. No appetizers were ordered but a salad and side dish were ordered in addition to the meals. We were waiting quite a while before I asked when I was to receive my salad. The response received was” oh I thought you wanted that with your dinner?” I said no I was looking for it before my meal. Our dinner arrived and unfortunately was cold as if sitting under a hot lamp. The salad never arrived. She decided to bring it out after I had already started eating with the wrong salad dressing. She did not come back to check on us, if she had she would have known she also forgot the side of asparagus that was missing. I asked for the correct dressing which she immediately knew I didn’t receive and she went in back to grab it. This also took an exceptionally long time. When the bill was dropped we noticed we were still charged for the item not received and asked it be removed. No clue where she went but it took over 20 minutes to get it corrected. We approached a manager after the experience and was told that he would have a talk with the server. I love all the Cooper’s hawk establishments and found this evening to be quite disappointing.
I love this location. Every time I visit this location I always get Gigi’s service. There was a lot of good energy in there.
More room or better organization with the wine tasting, can never get in

Experience was not good. Poor service. Poor food. Orders were wrong. Waited over an hour for our meals. Very disappointed.
I love Cooper's Hawk and gave five stars, but having a reservation did no good. We had to wait 45 minutes before we were seated. They know people linger, they should not overbook.
Great wine selection as usual. Some good gift ideas for Christmas too.

As always the food was outstanding! This was my 3rd time here, the service on the over hand left a lot to be desired. I understand our server was new and was not very familiar with the menu, however my husbands meal was wrong, and it took over 20 minutes for it to be corrected, I didn’t receive part of my order, we had to have it taken off the bill. The wine decanter broke and we waited another 15 minutes for that, we asked for boxes multiple times and we had to ask another server, finally the bill came and I couldn’t wait to leave. I sat in that restaurant for an extra 45 minutes.. very frustrating!

We had a reservation at 7:30 but were not seated until 7:55. No one at the restaurant apologized for the delay. The restaurant was very very crowded. I’m not sure why you make a reservation if you have to wait 25 minutes to sit down. I went to the host stand twice to ask when we were going to be seated and was told soon both times. I like Coopers Hawk and am a wine club member but I’m not sure I’ll go back if this happens again.
Everything was Perfect. My server was excellent. Just one silly side note the single booths seem to be far from the table.
My friends and I always enjoy Cooper's Hawk. When my husband and I travel to another state we make sure we have a meal in one of your restaurants. Keep up the good work and keep growing but, don't lose the fantastic service.

Girls night out. Food was great!
The food and service was very good. Both of my forks had food stuck on them, which was fairly gross. Other than that, we had a nice dinner. We have been to the Columbus Easton location and the Chicago - Oak Lawn location and have had overall good experiences.
Mary was wonderful! Our food was served quickly and everything was delicious.
Our Server Tray was great to us. This was our second time having him as our waiter and he was great. Please keep good employees like this around.
My girlfriend and I had a reservation at 5pm and we were promptly seated upon arrival. This was our first time at this location. Restaurant is very beautiful and had a wonderful dinner atmosphere. Our waiter was average at best. Took him 10 minutes to first come over and another 5 plus minutes to bring 2 glasses of wine. He never came back after we placed our dinner order. The food though was outstanding. I had the 3 steak medallions and my girlfriend had the surf and turf, both highly recommended! Had to get someone else to bring us a bottle of wine with dinner. Overall, I would definitely come back here and eat.
We made a reservation for 715pm. But we got there at 5:50 pm really early but we told the staff we were early. Rather than trying to sit us. The hostess made us wait close to 715!! For more than an hour! What is the point of a reservation If we are not seated ahead of time? There were about 3 tables for 2 people empty! But the hosts told us we would have to wait until 715pm! That is unacceptable! We never had problems like this.
The place was nice and everything was great. Got seated right away no wait.
The food was great as always and so was the service.
This is are go to date place. Food is always great. We get a little wine tasting and I couldn’t resist buying the etched bottle for Thanksgiving that says Gobble Wobble.
