Nice experience. We arrived early for our reservation time, but we were sat immediately. Nice lunch menu and assorted drinks. The overall space of the restaurant is very small and tight, quite cozy. We sat at a table for 2 with other patrons in each side of us. No problem with conversing, barely heard the other people talking, or maybe I just didn’t notice. Daughter had turkey club and I had half turkey with half farro salad, no dessert. Wait staff was attentive. This is a book store first, cafe second. Ladies lunch spot. Would go back.

A go to restaurant when I have out of town guests, never disappoints and particularly charming in the summee

This was such a beautiful tea time experience. We all had a lovely time, the food was delicious, our dietary needs were well accommodated, and the service was fantastic!! Silver Dove is the perfect place to go to tea

This is an excellent value for the money, especially compared to Boston tea rooms. We came for a birthday celebration, and the guest of honor very much enjoyed it. The decor is cozy, with flowers and tea sets throughout, and they had a nice playlist going, jazzy but not intrusive. There were no other reservations that hour, so we had the place to ourselves. Our tea came in individual pots and cups, all charmingly mismatched. The food came on tiered dishes and everything was very good. We especially liked the chicken salad. This is more of a heavy snack than a full meal. Parking is on the street but it is not a busy stretch even on a Saturday afternoon. Overall impression: we would definitely return for a celebration or special outing.

Seven of us met there for high tea and it was so fun. Love the lovely tea cups and dishes. All were different and beautiful. Such a nice way to enjoy and afternoon with friends.
