Han Cha’s Asian inflected English style high tea prix fixe menu will feature a selection of teas by the Chicago-based company Spirit Tea, served alongside curated pastries and other small offerings by a featured chef (or chefs). This summer, Marguerite Singson and Jessica Vazquez have created a beautiful Korean inflected high tea menu of three courses. Adjacent bar, Yunomi, will operate as a walk-in bar and lounge space. Signature cocktails designed by world renowned contemporary artists based in Chicago feature locally sourced spirits like Judson & Moore and Leatherbee, as well as tequila from our partner Casa Dragones.

Off the Pendry Chicago lobby within the historic Carbide & Carbon building, Bar Pendry is a celebration of a classic Chicago cocktail bar. Walk-ins are always encouraged, with reservations taken only for Boozy Tea. With interiors designed by world-renowned design firm Studio Munge, the sophisticated lounge is tucked behind heavy floor-to-ceiling drapery and boasts a dark and moody atmosphere with custom leather sofas, vintage rugs, cozy banquettes and a curated art collection. Anchored around a double-sided fireplace, the 54-person bar offers guests with a selection of classic and seasonal cocktails, wine and local beers along with a menu of elevated bar bites by Pendry Chicago’s Executive Mark Shoemaker and Sunday Afternoon Boozy Tea, available by reservation only.

    We have a new treasure on the south side! I absolutely LOVED this experience. The teas are exquisite, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the teas and food, and the space is beautiful. I love how the serving ware are all art pieces!

    Amazing rooftop with a great atmosphere! From the hostess to our waiter, the service was exceptional—everyone was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the overall experience made for the perfect girls’ night out. We can’t wait to come back!

    Really cool old converted factory with lots of original/restored features. Lots of foot traffic to/from rooftop pool. Bagel tower was amazing and clearly meant for 4 eaters

    We had a wonderful afternoon tea experience. The views from our table were beautiful, the selection of teas was excellent, and the entire experience felt elegant and relaxing. The staff made our anniversary feel extra special, which we truly appreciated. The food was very good, and the dessert that looked like a candle was a highlight. The service was warm, attentive, and made for a memorable afternoon. We’d happily return. 💙

    The experience was nice. The drinks were amazing and mu friend enjoyed the tower of treats. It was a really nice vibe if you're hanging out with friends or on a date. The service was good and the dj helped to curate a festive mood. The server adhered to my friend's food allergy, which was nice. I understood the price up front, so there wasn't an issue. We sat near a couple (young) that were not aware of the cost before they ordered, so maybe add context for visitors to prevent the misunderstanding. Overall, I'd return again.
