August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and Spain.August is open for dinner from 5pm on Thursday - Saturday, and from 11:30am for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. We also offer a range of private dining experiences, and can accommodate 60 seated guests, or up to 80 for reception-style events. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

    August reminded me of what I love about fine dining - exquisitely planned set Sunday lunch menu, attentive and unpretentious staff, a great playlist. Simply superb birthday lunch - thankyou August - I will be back most definitely.

    Ordered the 3 course dego, expecting dego size portions but no! Portions were so generous. Delicious wagyu, fresh seafood. Sides were included, also generous and delicious. We were blown away by the value. Wine list was adequate. Team attentive and polite. Will definitely be back!

    Lovely restaurant with good food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is inside the hotel but there is onsite parking for casual guests. My only reason for the 4 rather than 5 rating is that we were asked a few times about charging things to our room. As non-guests, we had to keep explaining that.
