Family-run by Brittany and Alan Alexander, woman- and Black-owned, and pouring in Ashburn for twenty years.Thirty bar-height seats and a kitchen open Wednesday through Saturday from 4pm, with a short seasonal menu built to drink with: housemade pasta, flatbreads, charcuterie and small plates. Vegetarian plates are always on the board.The list runs 500+ bottles deep, hand-picked rather than distributor-fed. Buy any bottle off the shelf and we'll open it at your table with no corkage, or bring your own for $20.Happy hour Tuesday through Friday, 3 to 6. Trivia every Wednesday at 7. Wine classes, tastings, and private buyouts of the whole room.Walk-ins are welcome whenever there's room at the bar.

An eclectic menu of hearty, classic bistro dishes crafted with New York flair. Think: A hearty Wagyu French Dip, topped with mozzarella and a creamy horseradish au jus, served on a perfectly crunchy baguette; or the Lobster Frites, made with luxe Maine lobster; the Bolognese Blanc, with freshly made rigatoni in a luscious white wine sauce, topped with wagyu beef ragu and parmigiano reggiano; or the innovative Caesar Salad with Fried Cream Cheese Croutons, which takes a classic Caesar and modernizes it with the flavors of that New York staple – the everything bagel. The star here, however, is the over-the-top Angie Chop Martini, a thinly pounded, breaded pork chop redolent of butter, lemon and red wine vinegar, topped with hot peppers and parmigiano reggiano imported from Italy.

    La Piquette was welcoming and delicious, as, always in the past when we were there Saturday, August 1. The host welcomed us and made us feel comfortable as well showing us our table. Delicious martinis, salads and soup were fresh and so delicious. Fish and beef entrees was prepared and presented perfectly. Delicious fresh nectarines and ice cream for dessert. A memorable evening! We shall rerun. Thank you, thank you!

    Every aspect of Bistrot Lepic is a wonderful delight. I have been there many many times, and it has Never failed to live up to every accolade! One of the very very best restaurants in the DMV. Truly!

    I’m a regular at this wonderful restaurant. I believe they have the best sole in the city. The appetizer was absolutely great. It was a special for the week …mussels w/ garlic and toasted bread and the chief’s sauce. I should have taken a picture. Would like it to be on the regular menu. Back in a couple weeks! Jim M.

    Sat on the patio which was lovely and not noisy. The food was excellent. The Scottish salmon was outstanding. Shared 4 appetizers, all of which were excellent. Portions are adequate so no doggie bags.

    Great wine shop and bistro. We had the artichoke dip followed by flatbreads, mushroom goat cheese and the other prime rib raspberry. Both appetizers and main were delicious. My wife went for a Pinot Grigio and I had an Argentinian Malbec. Will be back.
