Higher Ground is located in Manchester city centre and focuses on seasonality within the UK.The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday at dinner and at lunchtime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.At lunch a £40pp seasonal set menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal set menu at £65pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!Bar Shrimp, our cocktail bar, is next door to Higher Ground. 🍸🦐 Head there for a drink either before or after your meal at Higher Ground.Reservations of up to twelve guests are accepted via the OpenTable online reservation platform. For parties of 6x guests and over, the seasonal sharing menu is served.

    We loved the warm welcome and the focus on great food and wine. We had a table in a little nook which was perfect and private - but there is good space between all the tables. The fixed price 3 course menu was great value. This restaurant's reputation is well deserved and we shall return. Thank you!

    First time dining here and it certainly won’t be the last. Attentive staff with passion for the food and restaurant ethos. The wine recommendation was knockout, unique, funky orange which is exactly what we asked for. Highly highly recommend!

    We enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch in a lovely location providing excellent service. Low Bradfield is an excellent location and start point for lovely walks around local reservoirs. Finishing off with a super meal makes for an excellent day out.

    Just amazing! Delicious steak and chips, and a chocolate mousse desert- drizzled with orange olive oil- that tasted like the world’s best Terry’s chocolate orange. Sam and his staff are great.
