The food was fantastic and the waitress was an absolute credit to the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend The Red Herring to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Bridge of Allan.

Although it is a smaller menu than some larger restaurants, this bistro provides magnificently executed dishes in the French tradition, often with a bit of a twist. We tried the clams which were plentiful and the prawns which were plump and juicy and well cooked. The sauce accompanying the prawns was divine and rich. Then the Bœuf Bourginion and the sea bass. Both lovely dishes. Both cooked to perfection. We finished the meal off with the Coconut and chocolate desert and the Tarte tatin. Drinks wise, we had a mocktail each which was well made and not too overwhelmed with ice. I had a beer which was good. Altogether, I was pleasantly surprised by the cost which was much less than equivalent restaurants in town and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We left a good tip. My only complaint was, given the beautiful sauces which must have taken a lot of skill to produce was that there was no bread provided to mop up the sauces. Other than that, I highly recommend Wee Paree.

A group of 10 in a hurry at 8pm on a Sunday evening on a journey from St Andrews to Turnberry, Fantastic location lovely room after explaining our circumstances we enjoyed excellent express service. Food was great service was very impressive. Thank you.

We went to the £22 Steak Wednesday and were not disappointed. Food was delicious, service friendly and helpful and great bar staff! Def recommend 5 star review from me!
