Each season Scarf partners with a different Melbourne venue to facilitate unique dining experiences which create real social change. During Scarf Dinners, young people taking part in our training program run the front-of-house while the partner restaurant chefs do the cooking.Scarf trainees are young people seeking protection and those from refugee and migrant backgrounds with little or no work experience in Australia. During our pop-up restaurant services they're partnered with a mentor who supports them as they grow their skills, experience and confidence.
