Both brothers share the same ethos, utilising only the freshest of locally sourced ingredients; all whilst providing the perfect place to enjoy them.We take great pride in our hand-made, gourmet burgers; sourcing only the finest grass-fed aged meat, perfectly complemented by our secret signature bun recipe. The Pen and Wig is a haven in the middle of the city. We are a traditional pub a mere 3 minutes’ walk from Queen Street. We serve quality food until 10pm and we have an amazing beer garden that is in use all year round. The generous Sunday Roast boasts free top ups on roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. We also have an ever changing selection of real ale that we source from our local breweries and also a few from further afield. We are very proud to have been included in Camra’s Good Beer Guide for last six years.
