Fantastic experience. Delicious food and great service. Thank you for the birthday churros

We had such a lovely meal. The restaurant is gorgeous, it feels so luxurious and design-led. The menu is lovely and every single thing we ordered was delicious. The only thing that let the meal down a little is that I added in the notes that it was a 30th birthday celebration, but there was no reference to this. I don't expect freebies, but even a verbal 'happy birthday' would have made all the difference. It felt like any other meal. I would have assumed that my note was missed, but the hostess did reference that she knew it was a 'celebration', so it was definitely on the booking. All in all a wonderful experience, but just wish we had some little nod to make it extra special, especially as we were guests of the hotel too.

As always the food was excellent and the staff were really helpful especially as we had someone who was gluten free in our party. This was no problem at all.

It amazes me people still don’t seem to know about Zapote. It’s some of the best food in London, and definitively the best fine dining Mexican food in my opinion. The flavours genuinely sometimes blow my mind - like the roasted corn, we were begging the staff for the recipe… other highlights included crab tostada and red prawn ceviche. I don’t eat meat but the rest of the table very much enjoyed the duck quesadilla. I will say the desserts didn’t amaze me, but everything else, including cocktails, was 10/10.
