    We dined on Friday September 28th, very warm welcome from the Barman who took us to the lounge area and took our drinks order. A Waitress then brought us the menus, we chose Calamari for starters, I had the beef and lamb pie with mash and veg, my Wife had the catch of the day which came with potatoes and veg. The food was very well presented and extremely good, we were looked after by a very good young waitress who in conversation told us it was her first shift, that was a surprise because she was so good, she will do well in life. The whole occasion which was our 61st Wedding Anniversary was amazing.

    Very unassuming at first glance. The quality of the food and the friendly service made us permanent converts. We arrived for Friday fish fry day. The fish and chips were fantastic. Best fish fillet I have had. The mashed peas were sweet and fresh. Finally, I ordered an Affogato for dessert. It was perfection. Overall, I would come here again and again.
