Michael Lomonaco, the chef behind Windows on the World, the 21 Club, and Porter House New York joins forces with Serafina Restaurant Group to open Brasserie Cognac Américain.“New York has always been my home, and collaborating with the Serafina team on this concept felt entirely natural,” said Chef Michael Lomonaco. “Brasserie Cognac Américain reflects the kind of restaurant I’ve always believed in, very welcoming, refined, and designed for guests to return to again and again.” The menu centers on iconic French brasserie dishes, interpreted through a modern American lens. Guests can expect classics such as Escargots de Bourgogne, Duck à l’Orange, Steak Frites, Soufflé au Fromage, and Hand-Chopped Filet Mignon Tartare, alongside signature creations including Lobster Américaine, Tagliatelle aux Truffes, and an elevated Lobster Mac & Cheese. A curated selection of premium and dry aged meats, refined sauces, and thoughtful American and Italian accents complete the experience.
