Für die Hamburger und ihre Gäste gibt es nichts Schöneres als an oder auf ihrer Elbe zu sein. Man nimmt Platz an fein eingedeckten Tischen im rundum verglasten Restaurant und sitzt in der ersten Reihe, kann den Lotsen beim Wechsel zusehen und die großen Pötte beim Vorbeifahren bestaunen. Zu unserer Küche: "Wir sind keine Revolutionäre, keine jungen Wilden, sondern kochen klassisch-modern, handwerklich fundiert, mit Raum für den besonderen Einfall. Verarbeitet werden ausschließlich frische vorwiegend nachhaltig erzeugte Produkte bester Qualität.“ (Tarik Rose) Wer es etwas rustikaler mag, besucht den Engel Imbiss, der sich im Parterre des Ponton-Restaurants befindet. Und wenn es mal was zu feiern gibt, dann wird der Engel in exponierter Lage auch gerne vermietet.
