Grand Dukes Restaurant serves unique and comforting Lithuanian and eastern European cuisine in its impressive and rustic eatery. Starters such as the Lithuanian potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce, Fried Bread with garlicy cheesy sauce are perfect introductions to Dukes' style of cuisine. Some of Grand Duke's Restaurant's house specialties include the pierogi dumplings with potato and onions topped with a sour cream bacon sauce, the crispy chicken Kiev filled with garlic butter and the Country style Duck with roasted potatoes, homemade sauerkraut and lingonberry sauce. Sandwiches, such as the wiener schnitzel with Swiss cheese on brioche, the classic Rueben and the breaded pork cutlet belly buster sandwich with garlic sauce, are customer favorites and are ideal with a European beer.Grand Dukes Restaurant also hosts live music events every Friday and Saturday, which perfectly complements the already-merry atmosphere.

Boeufhaus, a French and German inspired brasserie, nestled on the border of the Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park discreetly opened April 9, 2015. Owned by Chef Brian Ahern and Jamie Finnegan, years of preparation led them to realize they wanted the opening to be a sincere gesture to neighbors and local foodies first. Boeufhaus is the coalescence of Old World culinary techniques and contemporary style serving responsibly raised animals and artisanal products—providing a fresh take on classic farm to table fare. Boeufhaus uses sustainable and responsibly raised animals, and artisanal haus-made products in our seasonally evolving menu. The beverage program features a lengthy list of carefully curated ciders, beers, spirits and natural wine.
