His culinary journey has taken him across South Africa, Germany, and the United States.Paul began his career as a restaurant manager and steadily rose through the ranks to become a franchise owner and later Director of Operations. In 1994, he launched Paul’s Pizza Shops, a nationally recognized pizza concept in Northwest Houston, Texas.In 2009, Paul introduced a bold new idea—Peli Peli, a South African fusion restaurant that quickly gained national acclaim. As Executive Chef & Owner he helped shape Peli Peli into a beloved destination for adventurous diners. After retiring from Peli Peli in 2018, Paul returned to his original location at Vintage Park to unveil his latest and most personal creation: The Chef’s Table.“This is by far my best creation yet,” says Chef Friedman. “I hope to leave a legacy here that my children and grandchildren will be proud of.”

    Amazing service! Came for a birthday dinner and employees were very helpful, service was great and sweet also admiring that it was my birthday. The food was amazing as well, I would definitely go back to experience that again.

    They made my niece’s birthday so special!!! They went above and beyond ! I called ahead and left notes on my open table reservation and they followed through! They even addressed my niece my name , made sure she had her a mocktail she really felt classy! The food was amazing and so was the wine that the server recommended, I believe it was the whispering angel a beautiful Rose wine! The manager for the 6th of July is amazing I forgot his name !!! I asked in the way out and still forgot! But he was magnificent! That skyline view was perfect !!! Pictures are on @b._rae_ on instagram! This place is content/picture friendly! We loved it! And now my husband wants me to take him there on a date !!!! Our anniversary is coming up and will be making reservations!

    We loved hosting our event at Simone’s! Eddie was very helpful with setting our group up for success. We had a party for 30 in the back room behind the bookcase and it was the perfect setting! We ordered apps in advance and had a private bartender for no extra or required minimum. Great place for happy hours and private parties! Love the truffle popcorn and charcuterie board!
