Excellent on all counts! Never disappoints. Kitty was attentive and informative. One of the best for a special occasion, yet any time there makes it special!

Our fourth (?) time here and it never disappoints! The service runs like a well-oiled machine and the food is an inventive take on traditional dishes. We ate outside (we've never dined inside) and while it was cold (mid-upper 30s with light winds), the space heaters and semi-enclosed outdoor space fends off much of the cold (the heavy wool blankets help!). While I wouldn't recommend the outdoor dining in truly cold weather, unless they enclose the outdoor space, during most recently typical winter weather in Philly, being outside is fine for us. We had a great series of dishes - both the dates and arancini for starters and then gnocchi, rigatoni and orecchiette as our pastas. My orecchiette, served with venison, huckleberries and pistachios was truly outstanding.

Fabulous food. great atmosphere! The servers are so friendly and accommodating! Love it here.

Enjoyable experience, yummy food, lovely service 

I took my friend out to lunch today for her birthday. She had ordered a salad with the dressing on the side when the salad came the dressing was on the salad. She had asked the waitress to return it because that’s not what she requested and the waitress replied the dressing is light. That’s not what my friend wanted. She wanted no dressing on her salad with the salad dressing on the side. I don’t think there’s anything hard with understanding that. she requested that they take it back to the kitchen for the chef to redo it. The server took it back to the kitchen which was fine. In the future if a customer asked for things to be prepared a certain way don’t argue with them, and have them take something they didn’t order.
