    This was our second time eating at the Black Lamb. We loved the Damiscotta oysters, the best oysters we’ve ever had. We had several apps- the crab Rangoon grilled cheese , the salt n vinegar chips with pimento cheese, and the smoked salmon. All delicious, especially the grilled cheese. Delicious cocktails- white cosmo, and others.Entrees were curry mussels, ( so good) , chicken Milanese, ( best my husband ever had) , Steak tartar was exceptional , and the lamb burger that was very delicious. Our coffees were tasty, and the Creme brule’ was delicious and different with nuts and gooseberries on top. The service was excellent. The server was always checking on us, and there was a specific person filling our waters. We had a wonderful dinner and will definitely be back.

    It was a great time and all the food was absolutely delicious but they should invest in portable outdoor heaters and if they serve lobster (which that smoky flavor was delicious)they should offer butter too) but over all it was a great experience. And I would absolutely recommend it and I would go again.
