For an authentic and exceptional Iranian culinary experience, look no further than Rockni Restaurant. Ideally located in a prime area of Kensington on Old Brompton Road, this restaurant is highly accessible by public transport (we easily took the C1 bus from Victoria station). The hospitality here is outstanding. The owner welcomed us warmly, and our server was highly attentive and professional throughout our meal. The food itself was excellent. We began with the delicious, freshly baked naan paired with a selection of traditional starters; the Salad Olivieh, Kashk-e-Bademjan, and Mirza Ghassemi were all superb and full of authentic flavour. For the main course, the boneless chicken served with torshi (mixed pickles) and the mixed grill were both perfectly prepared. We accompanied our meal with a traditional yogurt drink (doogh) and concluded the evening with a refreshing mint tea. As an Iranian, I highly recommend Rockni Restaurant for anyone seeking high-quality, authentic Persian cuisine in London.

What a lovely warm welcome. We were treated as dear friends. The enclosed courtyard setting was just lovely… neither loud nor crowded. And the food was fine. The Bloody Mary (must have Sunday lunch aperitif) was excellent. Thank you 🙏
