Located in the Theater District of New York and blocks away from Central Park, Basso56 serves freshly prepared Italian fare with a subtle modern twist. Owner and chef Paolo Marco Catini offers guests artfully plated, seasonal dishes. Homemade papardelle pasta with wild boar sauce, pan-roasted duck breast with dried figs and grilled salmon covered in a roasted pepper puree make for satisfying entrées. Basso56 provides lunch with pre-fixe course options. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are on the menu, as well as scrumptious desserts with wine pairings. Reservations are for diner's only, as this is a full serving restaurant. Also should your party size change, please notify restaurant as soon as possible.
