    As a Turkish family, we have tried all the Turkish restaurants in DC Metro. Smyrna is by far the standout. An unassuming strip mall location but as soon as you enter you’ve been transported to dining on the Aegean coast. The welcoming service represents the hospitality of the culture and the chef elevates tested and true meze dishes along with entrees for a memorable meal. Finish it off with a glass of Turkish tea (chai) and you will have had a visit to Bodrum if only in your mind for one lovely evening.

    No, we are regulars at this restaurant and enjoy it’s cuisine. It is always well prepared and the weight staff is always very nice and accommodating. I think it is a family owned business and we are happy to support them.

    Absolutely amazing experience, we did the cocktail flight and split it between the two of us and then got a couple cocktails off the menu. Everything was so good and creative. You can tell that the staff really puts their hearts into every drink and try to make something you’ve never experienced before. Cannot praise it enough. Our favorite drink had to be the Wylde Thymes- the recipe created by our bartender that was serving us for the majority of tonight. It is something I don’t think we will ever be able to forget. Thank you for an amazing night!
