It’s now my 3rd time dining here and it’s always a good experience. The food and ambience is great, the staff is always so pleasant.

Cute place and a lovely harp player. My friends and I had brunch there, it was very good and portions plentiful. The menu was a little tricky to understand but once they explained it made sense. The service was good too. I would recommend it for a girls day out.

(We arrived about an hour early to have a drink around the corner at Club Normandie, the small bar seemingly in the same building as the hotel and restaurant though in order to get to the hotel and restaurant we went back outside and walked around the corner. Just before the time of our reservation we went to the lobby of the Normandy Hotel and sat to wait to be picked up by one of the assistant chefs. There is a cart with wine in the lobby if you want somewhere other than the bar to go beforehand.) The meal was perfect. Watching the chefs prepare the food and move in calm coordination was fascinating. The wine pairing did make the meal more interesting as the wines chosen really did enhance each dish. We opted for the cheese plate at the end which was also worth it. Some people opted for the Wagyu, but I had no regrets sticking to the vegetarian menu; i wouldn’t have traded any of the staple dishes for any of the supplemental dishes i saw. Now that i have eaten here, when i think back to the very few negative reviews I read online, i can only think they must not have understood what they were experiencing. It is unlike any other restaurant I’ve been to. There is a unique intimacy to this l experience, from small number of guests, the single seating each night, each diner for the most part eating the same dish at the same time…quiet conversations, dish after dish sharing quiet expressions of surprise with each other.

The service was outstanding. They were very attentive and fast. The food was delicious and they had a variety of options. The prices are reasonable. We had an enjoyable time and would come back again.
