Here at Nuba, we offer authentic, healthy Mediterranean & Lebanese cuisine in harmony and rhythm with modern times. We seek out the freshest ingredients—organic and local when available—and handpick them daily. A large portion of our menu is vegan and gluten free. All meats are halal, non-medicated, and hormone free. Our original recipes have been passed down through several generations, and sincerely nurtured. While the cornerstones of the menu remain unchanged for over a century, many recipes have evolved through time and travel into a beautiful balance of traditional and contemporary cuisine. Nuba Underground, the original Nuba restaurant, was inspired by an independent and modern Beirut during the 1940s. At Nuba in Gastown we offer the same menu at lunch that made us famous for fresh and flavourful food. After 5 p.m. the lights dim and Nuba’s nightly adventures begin with an evening menu that captures the traditional Lebanese style of sharing with new and innovative dishes.

    From the moment we entered - perfection! I was a little worried about the noise and offered a work around - which was so well received and then folks went above and beyond to ensure me and my party were in the best spot to accommodate our hearing issues! Then it just got better... the food, the service and care with both, and the overall experience - was fantastic. We did not want to leave... so were compelled to have the sticky toffee pudding to draw out our time :) Thank you the whole team that made for such a special visit.

    Not only is there a very good variety of food, but the quality is great. There isn’t too much that’s spicy (in terms of heat, not flavour), the flavours are still wonderful. We would’ve liked more spicy options though. Overall this is such an amazing value for the price that you really can’t beat it.

    Excellent airport dining option near gate E 80 at YVR. Asian rice bowl was delicious, big portion, well seasoned. The chicken BLT was great too. One person didn’t love their burger. Local beers on tap are a nice touch. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices are airport expected.
