We were in the mood for a true culinary experience, which is very hard to find in the desert.
The lobster ravioli were superbe, but would be better paired with a simpler or lighter main dish than I chose.
The rabbit main course was tender, flavorful and a very generous portion.
My guest started with the Lyon style potato salad, which is not on the menu, but always available. He raved about it.
Attentive but not obsequious service, in a lovely setting.
Consistently wonderful albeit expensive but worth it
Very lovely elegant restaurant and the food is wonderful. We eat lunch there as well and that too is very good. very nice and reasonably priced wine selection. The service was great.
We have been going to Cuistot's since it opened and have seen Mr. Deveroux many times, all he said was Bon Apetite to us and we were sort of surprised there wasn't some recognition of us especially since we are such good customers. maybe he was just busy. Anyway, it is always a nice touch when the owners or manager recognizes or even pretends to recognize. That being said, it was a lovely evening and we will return soon!
Valet parking and a welcoming warm hostess begin your dining experience. The main dining room with the fireplace and vaulted ceiling has many comfortable seating choices. We enjoyed a corner booth. The wine list offers a balance of new and old world wines. Chef Bernard’s mushroom soup is so flavorful and delicious. My husband enjoyed the Bronzino, an evening special, almond crusted and perfectly prepared. My birthday choice was rack of lamb. I ate every bit. Managed to save room for a raspberry feuillette and a special birthday dessert, Iles flottante! Relaxing, friendly service. Help with the wine list, if needed. Perfect!
Plus fashion show
Always wonderful, healthy, delicious, and inovative food. Service is beyond perfect.
Sat in corner booth. Directly under a hvac duct and it was cold. Complained to no avail. Everything was great but my wife and I were both too cold to enjoy great food.
The only suggestion I would offer is that if someone is celebrating a special occasion, like a birthday or anniversary, that something be done to acknowledge it. Other than that, we have made Cuistot one of our favorites in the desert.
I had a fabulous steak & Eggs with green beans and no bread carbs - it was so tasty. My guest had Duck confit which she loved.
Very disappointed in my food. I ordered the quail and sweetbreads. Dried out - just overcooked. One of my other friends were also unhappy. For the price paid the food should be great. I won’t be back for dinner.
Food and service were amazing!!!
Best in the desert!
We were there for my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect! Excellent menu choices with fabulous results. Morgan, our server made the evening sensational.
Great night. Caviar, paella, great wine and a visit from the chef. Super night out. If you want special go to Cuistat.
The finest service in the desert, excellent preparation, and a wonderful menu.
Highly recommended .
Great! Jimmy was so nice! Brunch menu was awesome!
Food, atmosphere, and service are perfect! A true gem and on par with any five star dining experience. Special thanks to Chris, the sommelier for his recommendation.
Cuistot is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. It's very pricey but worth it for a special occasion. We went for my wife's birthday.
We had dinner for 6 last Sunday 9/22 for my birthday, we were late coming from LA to meet some friends and the staff at Cuistot were friendly and accommodating. This is one restaurant that I can highly recommend, food was superb, service was topnotch, ambience was great. We stayed there a little late and most of their staff waited till we all got out even it was beyond their hours. This is one restaurant that I could always go to celebrate if I’m in the area. I’ve been to so many nice, trendy restaurants around the country, I’ll take this for my top 10👍🏼👍🏼
The chef went to our table to ask about our food and service, such a nice gesture. I love Cuistot!
Food was great, service was superb and our server, Adriana, was smart, friendly, knowledgeable and a true credit to your establishment. She took great care of our 103 yr old Mom, who was very hard of hearing and had difficulty cutting her food into bite sized pieces.
This was our third visit to this restaurant. The food and the flavors that surround it are always delicious. We all had different things and sampled each others food .....all of it was excellant.
The service is also excellant without having the felling that someone is hovering over you during your meal.
Always top notch service and diversified menu
Outstanding service! Food was good, but could be better. I want my croissants flakier and hot when served. Would be back in this restaurant if I happen to be in Palm Springs again.
Arrived at 6:15, order a bottle of wine at 6:30. No menus until 7:15. Some bread arrived around 7:30! Ordered two meat dinner, mine was over cooked and my wife’s was under cooked! At approximately 8pm we told the waiter to put our dessert in a box to go and took the balance of the wine with us. Service was not good because I noticed there was only one waiter for the entire room. Also the bill was incorrect (wrong bottle of wine on the bill). When we arrived no one was there to greet us until a bus boy came over. For $200 I could have gone to many other great places for my anniversary (51st) in the palm desert area.
What a lovely evening at Cuistot. We had the Branzino fish with almonds which was fabulous.
Lovely dinner. The room really makes it special. Prices on web site are much lower than the menu prices, not sure why they haven't updated on line. The mushroom soup is excellent! Liked the lamb, but really still prefer Vicki's lamb as the best in the Valley. Will definitely try some new things next time. Server did not come around as much as we would have liked.
The lobster pot pie is to die for.
Very generous portions of lobster in each pie. Well worth the splurge.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!! Always a favorite place to meet friends fo lunch!
We were there to try the Restaurant Week specials. They did not disappoint!
Hostess and wait staff immediately made us feel welcome. The atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant, warm and inviting.
My wife had the tomato basil soup that was elegant and the trout which she really enjoyed.
I tried the potato and sausage appetizer which was different and nice while the lamb chops and sliced leg of lamb was just delish!
It was our first visit to Cuistot, but it won't be our last.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
Always a wonderful experience.
Chris, the sommelier was incredibly helpful helping pair wines with the menu.
Always an excellent choice! Amazing food and attentive service! It is as if you have been whisked off to a private dining club in France. Our favorite special occasion restaurant. Actually you don’t need any occasion to visit 😄.
Restaurant is lovely. Service was very good. Meals were delivered to the table were hot. Trout dinner was disappointing in flavor. Branzino dinner was excellent. Rene Lamy Chardonnay was very good. Keenan Chardonnay was bitter and disappointing.
Gracious and charming from the time you arrive until it's (sadly) time to go. Light cuisine and friendly service in tastefully understated, yet elegant surroundings. A jewel among the many other dining gems in the Coachella Valley, but one that sparkles a bit more than the others.
The food was amazing, however the service was slow.
We had dinner outside first of all the place was dead. Our appetizers and dinner was so so. The desert was better.
Service was average.
Food was exceptional, 3 course meal as part of Restaurant Week... Service was attentive, and very professional.... It is clearly recommended when visiting Palm Desert... Utterly enjoyable evening with my daughter....
Went for Restaurant Week, six of us, 5 had Sea Bass and 1 had Veal Patty. Food was excellent but we all agreed that the portion, especially for lunch, was almost too much. The Sauvignon by the glass was too expensive for the quality. Desert was loved by all.
