The atmosphere for dinner in the Conservatory is wonderful and the food and service is excellent. We were seated in time for the Early Evening Three Course Dinner, which offered several delicious options for appetizer, entree and dessert. The meticulous attention to pandemic safety measures helped us dine in ease.
Another great experience at the DWI. Shane was very accommodating seating us on an usually busy Wednesday night. Tara at the bar offered excellent, attentive service, and of course Chef prepared delicious offerings. This place continues to be one of the best kept secrets on Cape Cod (and it shouldn't be!)

Pretty outdoor patio that could have used a little plant trimming. Food good but expensive and not outstanding .Fries in particular are nothing special. Lobster chowder was the star of the meal. Service very good but we had diners nearby whose phones kept ringing loudly and then they would stand up bleach to talk to the callers. Foe a pricey venue, definitely ruins the ambience. No music which would help.

Everything was excellent as it always is!
Our server was very pleasant and thoughtful. She offered to remove the umbrella at our table in order to provide an unobstructed view while we ate. The food was delicious as always and the wine list was perfect!

We always love the Daniel Webster but a nicely socially distanced brunch in their glass solarium type room was delightful. The drinks and food were excellent as always.

Server was respectful of our desire to take our time, outside seating was a longer walk than expected though worth it during this Covid-19 conscious time. Food arrived hot and was quite good. I hadn't been there in a decade though as delightful as I remembered.

We sat outside and it was very cool, only 1 heater. The drinks and food were excellent, the lobster chowder was outstanding. We will return.

Had a very nice dinner at Dan'l Webster Inn celebrating our anniversary with my husband. The service was great! Never had to wait long for anything. The filet Mignon was delicious as was my husband's Prime Rib.
Very nice dining room with a view of waterfall outside the window.

The scenery in the atrium where we had our breakfast was breathtaking and totally unexpected. I won’t ruin anyone’s surprise, but if you can, do request the atrium. The coffee was excellent and breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Our server was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend and will return.

We stayed at the Inn and thought it would be nice just to walk to dinner. The food was less than fair (at best) especially for the price. I had to send my Fillet back because it wasn't cooked as ordered. We also had a Prime Rib and ordered an end cut, which they said they had. It was actually a regular cut and it appeared to just go under the broiler for a few minutes. Neither had great flavor. We had to special request water, condiments, etc. As I said nothing special, and it was a birthday celebration, which was noted on the reservation.

We went for lunch (fish sandwich and chicken sandwich) and the food was really pretty good. The dining room itself was a bit outdated but had a nice view of the outdoor water feature and small garden. I had a delicious raspberry cocktail that was really well made. The only minor complaint was a $10 Buffalo cauliflower appetizer that was literally 5 small pieces of cauliflower which seemed a little pricey. Other than we had a great time and will likely return.

Our Maitre' d was wonderful. Brian our waiter was ok. He told us that we had to wait for bread because it was frozen. He did not refill our glasses with water. The man who sat us would not let us sit where we wanted (out of the way of the air conditioner) because he told us the table was reserved. We were there for 3 hours and no one ever used that table. My husbands food was not the best. He told me on the way home that we won't be going back any time soon.

Our first visit was a very nice experience. Dined in the Conservatory with lovely views of the garden. Cocktails were perfect, service was excellent, and both entrees were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

Our dinner and drinks were delicious. We had calamari, lobster chowders, filet mignon (undercooked, but the waiter and management was very attentive to making it right), fish sandwich, and cheesecake. Everything had so much flavor and was beautifully presented. Our server was so kind and attentive. We ate in the conservatory and had plenty of space to ourselves. Beautiful environment for dining. Can not wait to dine here again!

The deck outside is lovely - umbrellas for shade, tables well spaced, nice view over the salt marsh, raised up so as to catch the breeze. Service was perfect - attentive but very unobtrusive. Food and drinks were interesting, well prepared and beautifully presented.

Amid the craziness of COVID, DWI maintains its unassuming gem like status. The food is as good as ever, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and set in a 300 year old tavern amid Cape Cod's Sandwich Village, it could not be more quaint. Even the tavern has found a way to maintain its old bar authenticity with appropriate social distancing. For a rare step back in time with contemporary victuals, and an experience that is far away from run of the mill, stop in. Its casual, its relaxing, its historical, and you'll want to come back...as I have many times.

First time here. The place is very nice, I believe the food would be good however the service was so unbelievably slow that our food came out cold so it was not the best. I had the lobster grilled cheese and my boyfriend had the pastrami sandwich. Both of us ordered fries for the side. We were there one hour before our food came out. The waitress clearly knew people at another table and spent so much time there that she basically ignored us.

Very easy booking on open table for dinner at 6:00pm in the conservatory of the Daniel Webster Inn Restaurant Thursday In mid August. Because of safety and hygiene they observed wearing of masks, wiping down chair arms and paper menus. Paper salt and pepper packets. No flowers candles or frills. Excellent food and service.

Sara, our server was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the menu and even asked the chef for a list of ingredients for a particular sauce that was served. It was so nice to sit outside, we felt appropriately social distanced. Luncheon portions were good, presentation very nice, food fresh and flavorful. Great stop if you’re in the area.

With all the rules and regulations due to the pandemic this restaurant has lost a lot of its luster. Paper menus, nothing on the tables for decoration etc. Menu hasn’t changed for years. Just plain BLAH!!!
