We found the staff very friendly and responsive. The service was quick and hospitable. Our dinner and breakfast were well prepared and delivered cheerfully in a timely fashion. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends.
Great service with a great location! Smaller menu than previous trips but still good quality food.
After enjoying a pedicure and massage, we had dinner at the Inn. The host was very nice and we were seated with a beautiful view of the pond with waterfall. Dinner was delicious. Overall a wonderful dinner.

I had been there years ago and remembered it as being truly fine dining. This time it seemed a bit less of a fine dining experience. Quite expensive so I think should have been a tad better. The building looks a bit tired.

The Daniel Webster Inn has had the same quality and atmosphere it did when I first went there 30 years ago. There is a lot to be said for consistency. Just wonderful.
Service was outstanding. Our waiter Brian was very attentive. Food was just ok for the price. No rolls and butter on table and no cranberry sauce with turkey dinner. Unheard of in New England. Restaurant is pretty but for Easter they should have had flowers on the table. Over it was okay and beats cooking and cleaning up.
Everything was great , the server took our order, brought our drinks and food. Then we never saw her or heard from her again. My lamb was so rare when I cut it, it was so tough( no sharp knife provided) my plate filled with blood. I was horrified. She never came back until we were done. She saw that I didn’t eat but never asked why. Disappointed and expensive

We checked in early they forgot about us and then we didn’t have a table for dinner thankfully Max at the front desk was there or we wouldn’t have eaten at all.

Stopped on our short cape cod vacation, and everything was incredible! If this was a scene from Gilmore girls, they had Sookie in the kitchen. I had the Raspberry White Chocolate martini which was to die for, and my boyfriend tried the beer flight and was over the moon. If you go, do NOT leave without trying the lobster chowder. Their lobster sandwich was absolutely loaded with meat and delicious. They had a duck special that wasn’t quite as mind blowing, but was still good for a nice dinner out. We have decided that next time we come to the area, we are going to stay at this Inn just because of how impressed we were. Reasonable prices, too. Our server Brian was delightful. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

The entire experience was perfect. We brought our daughter to see where we had our wedding reception 26 years ago. It’s as wonderful as I remember it.

St Patrick's Day. Went for Corned Beef & Cabbage. Sorry to say the offering was so dry and had no flavor. It lacked seasoning and had no sauce to moisten the dish. The Vermont Maple Burger my wife had also lacked seasoning. We had hoped that returning after our October visit with covid in full swing that things would have improved. Sorry. On that note, the attention we got at arrival was great and our server Sarah was good.

This is the first time we have been to the Daniel Webster Inn. It was beautifully historic and the conservatory was lovely. The food and service were both outstanding. We loved the experience and want to go again. We stopped at the tavern for an after-dinner drink and it was also great!

My husband and were at the Inn early Friday night for our kick-off-the-weekend dinner...and the experience was really great. I don't know if the room gets noisy when it's full, but with Covid, it was not full and the ambience was lovely. The food was excellent. I had scallops (unbelievably fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared) and my husband had prime rib (also perfect and not one morsel was left behind). The service was attentive and friendly.
We will do it again very soon. Also, this would make a spectacular wedding venue...I kept thinking "Why didn't we look at this place for our daughter's wedding???" I highly and unequivocally recommend....

We had a family lunch in the beautiful conservatory. The food was delicious and they even had a few great options for my 10 year old daughter. It was a bit fancy but we were aware of that heading in. Our daughter can finally enjoy this type of restaurant so we all had a great time. The waterfall view in the winter with frozen icicles was magical!

We ordered filet minion well done and had to send it back three times. The third time we got our plate and the outside of the filet was rich hard like charcoal and the inside was still bleeding pink... very unsatisfied I don’t understand how this is an “award winning restaurant”...

My girlfriend's plate was beautiful... Filet Mignon. Mine looked like it was just tossed on the plate... Prime Rib. Didn't really matter though as it all tasted amazing!!

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I went on valentines day (after my wedding) and the menu had been minimized. I had made my reservations a month in advance and knew exactly what I wanted, Buffalo cauliflower app, french onion soup, cherry bordeaux short ribs, and maple bourbon bread pudding. None of these were available. The valentines day menu was made up of what I would call "simpler" selections. I go to a restaurant like this to get "special" selections not standard menu fare. Prime rib, filet mignon, baked cod, swordfish, chicken madeira, stuffed squash and typical apps and salads, all of the interesting, signature selections were not available. What we had was very good but finding out what we expected was not available was disappointing.
