excellent food... wonderful service.. there were several tables with screaming children that night so we had to talk louder over them.. other than that, it was a good night with good friends... prices: $$-$$$

We had a great time ringing in the New Year. The food was amazing!!

Terrible experience. The food was sub standard. The appetizers were small for the price. The bruschetta was soggy. The lobster bisque was served close to room temperature. Our steaks were ordered medium rare and came out well done, not a bit of pink. The owner was extremely rude to us. He did not care about our experience and tried to avoid us. When I shared our issues, he tried to blame it on the waiter. None of the problems were the poor waiters fault. I will never go back. There are too many fabulous restaurants in Greenville to settle for this.

Absolutely fabulous high end Italian dining. The food was outstanding from the Stuffed Mushroom appetizers to the entrees (Linguine Fra Diavalo for her and Osso Buco Milanese for him) to the signature Choclolate Marquis dessert. This occasion was on New Years Eve and there were a couple of rather boisterous groups which somewhat diminished the experience, but hey - it WAS New Years Eve and if ever there was a time for a rather exuberant celebration, saying goodbye to 2020 was a good one, so all is forgiven. I highly recommend Davani's for great service, authentic cuisine and a great night out.

New Year’s Eve

I enjoyed this place, and will go back. The food was great, and the ambiance was very nice. It is a little small, so you are closer together, but that wasn’t really an issue. I like that they had a decent variety of stuff on the menu, but it wasn’t overwhelming. Some places have way too many choices, and I don’t care for that. Anyway, this is a keeper.

This was the 2nd time I've dined here and both have been wonderful! There were 6 of us and we all tried something different. Everything was delicious & freshly made. We will be back!

Good food nice place i would recommend this for Italian.

We went to Davani's to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was great, and the food was terrific. Our party of four chose four different entrees and two desserts - everyone was very pleased. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

A favorite....always enjoy our evening at Davani's. Excellent cuisine, ambiance and service (thank you Jennifer for your wonderful attention, recommendations and service). Loved returning with our friends and will do so again so. A definite go to for local GVL foodies and all!

Fabulous in every way (and we are quite "fussy" diners). First, the ambiance is a pleasant surprise, given the location is in a "strip" shopping plaza. Great lighting and table locations for intimate conversation. We also were reassured with all of the steps the restaurant takes to be "Covid-safe", such as delivery orders to the table using a cart to reduce handling of plates. Service is outstanding - beginning with the greeting we received from 3 staff when we entered the door and all of the attention we received throughout our meal from our server, Dan. He does a superb job of explaining dishes and offering assistance with the menu. The extensive menu includes many "typical" Italian dishes, but the preparation was far from ordinary. Every item we had was "5 Stars"... beginning with the dipping oil for the bread - the best we have had - apparently due to the homemade balsamic glaze. Both soups - lobster bisque & French onion were outstanding, our veal and sea bass entrees were excellent, and the chef's selected sides (risotto and Brussel sprouts) were simply perfect. We ended our meal with great cappuccino - sadly, we had no room for dessert. This seems like a "can't miss" restaurant - We highly recommend and will return upon on next visit to Greenville.

I like this restaurant. However, with 6 in our party for an anniversary they added 20% as a gratuity. I am not at all against a 20% gratuity but I don’t pay gratuity on tax and the service was not up to the standards I expect or would give 20%

Excellent choice for an intimate graduation celebration!

Food is amazing. Everything we had was terrific. Owner came by and spoke! Customers at the bar were a little loud, but this is no fault of the restaurant-it was game night. Always a great experience

We went to this restaurant for our 44th Anniversary. We had a wonderful server but it got a little slow due to at least 3 parties in the restaurant. Over all the food was absolutely delicious. My only issue was not selecting the sushi grade ahi tuna. I thought it was very well prices. Instead I went for the special which was sea bass. I should have asked for the price. It was so much more expensive that I was a bit surprised when I got the bill. My only other comment is that it's the first restaurant I've been to where I've celebrated a special occasion where we weren't offered something complimentary. It was on the reservation and also our server asked if we were celebrating something. Still, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Friendly service, but food was not wonderful. Mussels were fishy, sauce on the filet too salty, fish undercooked.
