Deerpark Restaurant-Biltmore Estate
Always excellent. This time we got served by staff at buffet tables thanks to the covid. But they where all amazing and it was great
This was probably the last weekend they will be open for at least two weeks. It was a great menu with brisket and sliders but when they reopen, it will probably be the the "new" spring menu. I think they are still working on it. Let's hope that the virus can be controlled quickly so that Deerpark opens in about two weeks. I think the restaurants in Antler Village and the hotels are open but be sure to check.
This is a buffet, however, the food is much better than buffet style. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! I highly recommend eating here next time you visit The Biltmore Estate.
The buffet had a very good variety and everything was delicious. The desserts were wonderful.
Lovely assortment of food. Attractive presentation. Good servive.
You are eating at Biltmore, not cheap. We pre-purchased lunch with a drink and gratuities, that helped a little. It was buffet style which is great but the food was just so so. Very odd seasoning combinations on many items that we did not appreciate or like, even on the broccoli casserole, sweet potatoes and house made pickles. 😝The service was really very nice, attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and relaxing. No rushing anyone that I saw.
My friend and I were celebrating her becoming an annual pass holder so of course we had to go to Deer Park. I had not been in many years and I will say it was even more delicious than I remembered. The staff, the food, the presentation.... all top notch. Give yourself time to enjoy this awesome buffet. We are not usually buffet folks but this is worth the time to explore.
This was my third time eating at Deer Park and once again I was amazed at the food array, the taste, the service! A wonderful experience!
Sorry , but my husband and I both agree this was not a good meal. Vegetables overcooked and those with cheese gummy. Chicken had no flavor, beef was tough and this continued to desserts. These were also less than good. Cookies so hard I could hardly bite into them. Cobbler had little fruit and again a gummy texture. Okay ,so it was billed as a southern buffet... I grew up in the south and I am sorry but really not the southern food I know. My yankee husband really hated it.
Our Server was outstanding! Food was very good, LOVED The brisket and omelette station, the young lady who made my omelette was very professional and welcoming. Wonderful meal as always !
The brunch buffet was wonderful as usual and the endless mimosas were a great pairing. The desert was outstanding and I look forward to eating there again.
Our waitress was excellent , very cordial and professional, she was great and constantly insuring we had everything we wanted!
Not the best place for brunch, amazing property, but the food is so so
We visited Biltmore Estate for the weekend to celebrate mine and my husband’s 49th birthdays. I had tried to get dinner reservations but was unsuccessful. However, I was very much surprised and delighted that there was availability for Sunday brunch. That worked perfectly for us since we were leaving the Estate before dinner and we were able to fit in yet another fabulous meal before heading home to bologna sandwiches and frozen sausage patties. Ha! Our experience at Deer Park was something very unique for us. My husband and I had a meal where our conversation centered solely around the complexity of each bite we took. It was absolutely a pleasure eating there. We will certainly return because Deer Park is the ideal place for a special occasion and any meal with the one you’ve loved for thirty-one years is a special occasion!
We love the Sunday brunch at the Deerpark. Always make sure to get a reservation though as it does fill up!
Everything was fantastic. Including the service! We will be back again and again!
They made my birthday extra special.
Loved our dinner and the quality of food! Will definitely be back!
The food was outstanding and our waiter was absolutely fantastic, we will definitely return when we are in the area!
Ran out of certain dishes. Food was cold, Brisket was raw.
Our reservation was 11:45 but we were 30 minutes early and they took us right in. The buffet was very delicious and the service was fabulous . Many choices including breads and desserts. All the food was very good and my sister and I really enjoyed the experience at this restaurant .
Great lunch experience for a group lunch. Disappointed that it is no longer a brunch with breakfast but, lunch menu is extensive and reasonably priced. Well received experience by all!
It was a beautiful place to eat and relax. The food was fantastic and definitely met the value. The service was consistent, just a little cold. I would definitely recommend.
Excellent menu!!!! Enjoyed celebrating our anniversary ❣️
My grandmother, mother, sister, and i had a wonderful lunch. The buffet featured a variety of fresh, flavorful dishes. We enjoyed the seasonal ingredients.
Absolutely! As a Biltmore employee, I recommend The Deerpark everyday that I am at work!
We were disappointed in the food selection. Soups were questionable, fish looked like something from McDonalds and the brisket was loaded with fat. How about some lettuce in the salad bar?Desserts were good~The candlelight dinners were so much better.
Our family has visited Biltmore Estate numerous time thru the years! Our favorite place to have lunch has traditionally been Cedric's Restaurant. In looking at the website and checking out the menus, we decided to try Deerpark this trip. We were totally satisfied with everything! The food choices, service, and atmosphere were very pleasing! I will recommend to all of my friends to choose Deerpark. We will certainly be back. Thank you!
The buffet was wonderful and and Turner offered excellent service!
Everything was very fresh and delicious. We had a wonderful server who went out of his way to make our lunch special. When we ordered coffee, the sweetener we use wasn’t available at our table. He went over to another venue to get what we asked for. All in all, it was a perfect lunch after enjoying the Downtown Abbey Exhibit.
Deerpark is a beautiful space with lovely and delicious foods, presented in a special way. We come for special occasions and have always been happy with our dining experience.
Food was excellent as always. It is nice that this restaurant is now open all week. But it will be sad when they go back to Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Definitely we are returning for the good food and service.
Reservations for brunch was later than we would have liked. Felt a bit rushed for a Sunday.
Great Service , Awesome Food , Fantastic Restaurant !
Everything about our experience at Deerpark was outstanding.
My husband and I had visited here many years ago and remembered a great meal. Sunday's lunch WAS NOT the same experience. The buffet was more like a pig pen and they were out of most things. Late being seated despite reservations, server gave credit card to a different table and did not split the check as asked. Overpriced for terrible experience.
I eaten here at least once a year for the past 10 years or more. This time it was very crowded, which made it difficult to enjoy the buffet selections. The omelette station had only two workers which meant waiting almost 20 - 30 minutes to be served. Would help if they had a "breakfast" section with the traditional breakfast fare --- as it is, you had to go through the omelette station just to get scrambled eggs! Finally, the number of selections has declined except for the very large number of desserts! But at 10:30 on a Sunday morning, I have little taste for a dessert. More breakfast item (oatmeal, waffles, fruit, juices, etc) and les desserts would really make this one of the best Sunday brunches in Asheville. Omni Grove Park Inn still has the best -- but costs over $25 more per person!
Sunday brunch was really special. We had a fairly early reservation which made getting to the buffet easier. Got really busy before we finished.
DeerPark buffet does not have foods that appeal to young children. Some food items were good but others disappointed. It is a nice place to relax and eat after lots of walking at Biltmore. It just wasn't as yummy as I thought it would be.
Me and my bestie really had a wonderful time during lunch buffet. Neil, our server, was ever so accommodating and gracious! The only thing I would have loved to have had was a slightly bigger stomach!!! Lol... it was so hard to put on the restraints. The corn chowder soup, fried halibut, hazelnut fig bread, and banana bread dessert were the favorites!
