   Portions were very small hardly enough for one person and there was 4 of us.The lemon grass grilled chicken was less than one thigh and the garlic noodles was on a salad size plate. It not like it used to be and the pictures are not the portions size, it is half the amount.

   Food was very good! Really chill spot. Service was okay. We did wait almost 50 minutes before our appetizers hit the table. They did acknowledge the lengthy wait time and service smoothed out from there. Seems like it could be a good place to take the family. We plan on going back to give it another try, since the food was pretty delish.

   There is so much potential with the setting on the estuary, but the restaurant really doesn't take advantage of it. Some post pandemic changes have not helped, such as getting rid of the hostess stand which leads to a confusing check in process and resulted in my husband finding a homeless women in the men's bathroom on on our visit. The value for the money is good and the food is tasty, but would not return.

   My friends and I really enjoyed the food at Dragon Rouge. The flavors were great and all of the recommended dishes were outstanding. I will say that we would have liked a little more spice in the spicy dishes we ordered. Thanks so much!

   As expected, the food was very good and moderately priced. The menu is large and the portions are abundant. We were, however, a party of six, having made a reservation several days in advance. When we all gathered at the entrance, there was no one to greet us, no host or hostess and so we just walked in. A waitress said we should sit anywhere, and there was no table set for us. Subseuent service was minimal, although the waitress spilled sauce on me and my wife, helped clean it up but offered no apology; neither did she ask if our clothing needed to be washed or dry cleaned. (It didn't) Too bad the service did not equal the quality of the food.

   I have tried Dragon Rouge 3 times and have had pretty much the same dining experience both sitting inside and out. The service is always very good, but the food is just so so. I have tried to switch up the food each time to make sure it wasn't just that particular dish that seemed rather bland, but each dish lacks the flavors I am looking for in this type cuisine. Nice outdoor patio if you going for drinks and apps.

    THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS WONDERFUL. THE WAIT STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING. I ALWAYS LIKE TO TRY NEW THINGS, THIS TIME I HAD THE CRAB AND GARLIC NOODLES..AND I FOUND THE GARLIC NOODLES LACKED ...*DRUMROLL*... GARLIC. THE FLAVOR WAS LACKLUSTER AND PRETTY FLAVORLESS. I WAS SURPRISED BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS GIVEN DR CREDIT FOR HAVING FLAVORFUL DISHES. MAYBE IT WAS AN OFF DAY- I WILL CONTINUE TO EAT HERE AS THIS IS ONE OF MY TOP 10 FAVORITE RESTAURANTS IN THE EAST BAY.

    Food did not disappoint- all dishes presented nicely, good portions for sharing and fresh. Service was a bit uneven and required us flagging down our friendly but oversubscribed waiter a few times. Definitely a place to come back to.

    Dragon Rouge is terrific. My favorite dish to order is their pineapple chicken or shrimp salad. It is beautifully presented and tastes delicious.

    We recently moved to the area and heard good things about this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent especially the spring roll sampler with delicious sauces, the sizzling lemon catfish and the noodle dish. I was disappointed that they were out of sake so couldn't try the Saketini but I am planning to return so something to look forward to next time. Our waitress was great - friendly, attentive without being intrusive. We liked the relaxing atmosphere and despite the driving rain outside, it felt very warm and cozy. This will definitely be one of our neighborhood go to spots.

    I am a frequent diner in about the Park Street restaurants and was a frequent visitor when this establishment was on Encinal Ave. We were there early on New Years Eve and the place was not crowded at all. We were seated by one of the doors that led to the deck outside and after we were seated we noticed that there was a private party of some sort beginning to assemble. Little did we realize the door to the deck was open more than shut. We decided to make our way thru dinner and not to linger. Our server brought the food and disappeared. She was gone for 20 minutes. No one checked on our table at all. After that I noticed most of the members of the wait staff busy taking selfies along the kitchen wall. No one was interested in waiting on tables. After we finished our dinner (still no one checked on our table) we were left to sit with our soiled dishes for another 15 minutes. I flagged down a busser and he took some of the plates and brought back the check. My dinner plate was still in front of me along with the check. Meanwhile the remainder of the staff was busy with their selfies and their NYE party hats. This service was the worst.

    Whether it is with chicken, beef, prawns, crab, or pork, this section of the menu shines bright. Burma Super Star doesn't come close, though IMHO comes in second. The whole menu is strong and agreeable throughout. The wine list needs more varietal and geographic diversity.

    My family and I ate here due to its gluten free menu and were very disappointed. My husband's chicken was a processed composite meat patty, my pho like soup smelled bad and had gray meat and lacked typical ingredients. The establishment may have once been nice inside, but the paint is chipping, the floors are unfinished, and the upholstery is coming off the chairs. We paid 100 bucks with tip and we are not a wealthy family. We rarely eat out due to dietary restrictions so I really rely on the reviews of others. I read reviews on this restaurant and am confused. The service was okay, but our food was not authentic, fresh, or worth the money that our three person family paid out.

    We love this restaurant! This is a locally owned and operated establishment and they take great pride in both the quality of their food and service. Too many favorite dishes to mention them all but two of our favorites Re Mom's Phantastic Rolls, and Seafood Clay Pot. It's great for dinner but they also have outside dining patio which we particularly like when the weather is nice and it's dog friendly.

    It was the day after Thanksgiving so the restaurant wasn't busy. They accommodated our family gathering with no problem. We ordered a few plates to share for our party of 10. The server was okay and she seemed a little pushy, but overall they left us alone to enjoy our mini family reunion. Parking was not a problem and we enjoyed the food and drinks.     Stopped in for lunch and to just hang out with a girlfriend. We sat outside and enjoyed the Dragon Rouge Platter which consists of shrimp in skewers , porkchops, beef rolls with mango in the middle served with lettuce wrap and vermicelli noodles. They also have delicious calamari, garlic fries, curry, clay pot cat fish. And wonderful ice cream . Danny, Jimmy, and MaMa are very community centric and really know how to serve up the dishes.     It was my first meal at this Check-Please reviewed spot that's been recommended by friends and family -- a midweek lunch w/ a friend. We started w/ the Wasabi Crab Cones which made me wish I'd ordered some sparkling wine or beer to accompany. Yum! These appetizers had just the right amount of wasabi and flavorful crab meat; verrry creamy though -- so be forewarned. We were underwhelmed by the prawn spring rolls (dry and verry subtle in taste). The garlic noodles, however, took the prize for the best dish of our meal. Lots of moist, tasty chicken breast morsels in expertly wok-tossed garlic and noodles. This one dish alone is enough to bring me back for further gastronomical exploration. Additionally, friendly service and a nice setting by Alameda's 23rd Street Bridge made for a very pleasant and satisfying luncheon.

    Had lunch here and sat in the outdoor patio section for the first time. It was a pleasant day and the wind was calm. The lunch portions are large and the food is fresh and full of flavor. My husband wants to get his bike buddies over here after a ride - you can park your bike behind the railing near the estuary and relax with a beer without worry.

    After seeing this place on Check Please/bay Area, have come here several times a year, always trying to make it around sunset time - which can be gorgeous to watch from there. The food has always been consistently wonderful, service attentive and friendly. Especially love the Bouncing Beef w/ watercress (my usual dish) or Dragon's Nest w/ steak and prawns. And especially love going with others - so I get to taste their's too, tho' delicious, always happy I get the Bouncing Beef. Have always ordered appetizers - have had the sampler platter with 3 different yummy dipping sauces - (delicious crispy pork roll and curried potato roll, fresh and light chicken roll wrapped in rice 'paper'), crispy calamari - not greasy or dripping w/ oil. Most dishes have a choice of tofu - so great for vegetarians too. Cocktails are quite good too and most $8 - $10 (not $10-14 range in most restaurants these days) - loved the Pear Martini. And one of the best things too - is you can actually have a conversation with those in your group and not strain to hear them!

    We made a reservation for 2. When we arrived, we discovered that the restaurant had been rented by a private group and that we would not be able to dine there. Instead we had a delicious meal at the recently reopened Angela's on Park Street. My wife had a salad and the taco appetizer. I had the Moroccan chicken, which had a wonderful sauce. We'll go to Dragon Rouge again some time, but call first.

    Are you waiting to sample an awesome array of delectable treats with a variety of Vietnamese specialties....and a beautiful view! Don't miss the Draqon Rouge restaurant...just next to the Park Street Bridge with lovely water front tables or inside dining available. I loved the relaxing atmosphere, watching the sailboats cruise by. Service is impeccable and the wait staff are vary gracious. Food is fabulous...and unique! Fun to order a selection of appetizers to share. Want something different? Try the steak-wrapped mango treats! Yum!
