This is the original Copper Cellar in the basement only (not street level). This is where it all began in 1975 — a restaurant that you descended into from the street level of the Cumberland Avenue “Strip.” It was named for a beautiful bar wrought from copper. The first cappuccino machine in Knoxville was ordered from Italy, giving the Cellar a distinctive flavor right from the start. The rich ambience of walnut, copper and leather still make an impression and create the setting for premium steaks, seafood and special recipes refined over 40 years.
