Echo & Rig Steakhouse & Butcher Shop
Was disappointed with the steak. Too salty to my liking.
Always consistent and always excellent.
Keep up the good work.
This was our first visit to the restaurant and everything was perfect. We ordered quite a bit since there were so many options. Shane was our waiter and the service was excellent. We were all very impressed and are already planning our next visit.
All areas of dining are always excellent when we dine here. This trip service was a bit slow.
We had not been here in a very long time, the previous experiences have always been great. this time was a little different. The first cocktail was outstanding, a traditional whiskey sour made with egg white, the second was terrible, a little whiskey with some lemon juice mixed in. After i sent that one back i ordered a glass of cab to go with my steak, well what showed up was a glass of chardonnay. 2 of 3 drinks were wrong. I ordered a rib eye cap, but they were out of that cut so i got a bravetta, not bad at all. The mushroom fries were a little crispy and a few were over done. My wife had a salad & salmon with spinach. The salmon was ok, the spinach was a waste of time, tasted like grapefruit and not much like spinach, don't know what that was about.
the bright spot of the evening was Rae, she was outstanding and did her best to make sure we were taken care of.
Sitting outside in the cold rain was quite interesting. Maybe it wasn’t clear that outside was a option which we wouldn’t have wanted
This place was amazing, great food and atmosphere!
Was excellent, as usual and the service was outstanding.
Very attentive staff. Wonderful food.
Had a wonderfull experience, only one steak was overcooked of the 3, mine was perfect and appetizers were super..
This is the best steakhouse in Vegas!! I've already referred many of my friends and clients!
Unfortunately, E&R is starting to go downhill. I've eaten here dozens times over the last 4 years and was always pleased. However, the last two times I've dined here I've noticed a severe drop-off in the level of service. We sat on the outside balcony and while our food came pretty promptly it seemed to take forever for cocktails and refills. The last reorder took at least 30 minutes and I had to remind our server twice that we asked for another round of drinks. Very frustrating ending to our meal which took in excess of 2 hours.
As to the question of whether I would recommend E&R to a friend, the answer is "not any longer." Hopefully, they will be able to turn this situation around, but I won't be around to see it.
Bloody steak when asking for medium well
The medium steak was in 3 pieces.
Waiter was nice.
Wine was good.
Manager didn’t listen to us
Great food, Great service. The brisket and white grits was superb.
Had friends in from out of town. Food good. It's a nice local place to go for a good meal when you
Don't want to go on the strip.
We came for brunch and it was BEYOND noisy . Our server was great but didn’t see him much. Asked fir hot sauce from 2 different people and never got it. Ladies Bathroom was a mess. The plus was the bottomless mimosas, they made the other issues not so bad lol.
Always enjoy, always treated great. Beth the manager is absolutely fantastic!!!
As always, perfect dining experience.
If you want to talk without raising your voice this is not the place to go. Noise level very high for a great place to eat.
Outstanding service with excellent food. Value was outstanding. Great meal and personalized service for our table.
Excellent service from Ari. Really makes you feel important even when the restaurant is so busy
We were traveling through the area looking to eat at a steakhouse for an early dinner. Echo & Pig was only one of a few restaurants open at that time. Our waiter was super helpful and kind, explaining the menu so we knew what we were ordering. The food was exceptionally delicious...from the steak, scallops, salads, and side dishes. We left full and very satisfied! If we lived closer we would definitely go back.
Went to celebrate a new job. Manager assured us he would assist in making it a great experience. Never saw him again after we were seated. Took a while to get service, although it was a Friday evening. But, you’d think you’d account for that and staff your dining room with more help. Food was amazing as usual, but the service was subpar from what we have come to expect from Echo and Rig. Not sure what amazing experience the floor manager was referring to, but it was anything that stood out.
Noisy and very loud. Waited 65 minutes just to get appetizers (which were only shucked oysters- no cooking involved). If it was taking that long to shuck a dozen oysters, why did the waiter push them so hard? Quite possibly the worst steak I’ve ever had in my life. Did not send it back. Tried my girlfriends scallops and they were good. The fish was overcooked and dry. Did not send that back either. The side dishes were good but same as anywhere. This place is ruined a double birthday celebration and we could not wait to get the check and get out of there. It was truly a disappointment and I was the one who chose the restaurant so I felt horrible. The only good thing about this place is that you can bring your own wine bottle in without a cork fee.
The small dishes really make the meal. We had oysters, Portobello fries, spicy cauliflower, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. All were excellent. We shared a steak (the Santa Maria tri tip). The sauces were delicious but the steak itself was woefully undercooked and lacked the seasoning that I would have expected for this cut. Fortunately, the wonderful turtle sundae for dessert made up for that lapse.
The meal and the service we impeccable.
It’s a great restaurant off the strip. The location was very nice and a great place to eat with family and friends.
If you can't have at least a medium range steak you will lose the enjoyment of a good steak, the black and blue was amazing and so was the service.
Had been there twice before. First time bad overall. 2nd time with a large group was ok. Thought 3rd time’s a charm... WRONG. Service was quite good but food was mostly so so.
Apps were good (Tartar & chile cauliflower) steaks were so so and steak knives were dull! Noise level was sooooo loud the 2 of us couldn’t hear each other as sat side by side. There are much better Steak houses in the city. Vic & Anthony in Golden Nugget & Golden Steer in Sahara to name a couple.
Amazing food! Was the best steak I have ever had.
Perfect place to brunch
Everyone was so inviting and friendly. The food was perfect and the ambiance was great!
One of the best steak and chop houses if you are in the Las Vegas area. Get off the strip and get a great meat at a value, and you won't be rushed out the door while you are having it. Great wait staff and kitchen team
The service from start to finish was impeccable, from the hostess who sat us, to our server (Augustine, I believe), to the friendly staff clearing tables and refilling water. Even the manager who came by our table was attentive and had great recommendations. Our meat cuts were cooked PERFECTLY and the sauces are ridiculously tasty. Yummy cocktails to round it out. We’ve been eyeballing this place for well over a year and now they’ve got us as regulars!
We were celebrating our nephew’s 31st birthday with him and his parents! He loves to smoke Tomahawk steaks on the grill. So he ordered one to share with his parents and were all blown away by the amazing steak. I had the filet minion, it was perfect and my husband had the rib eye which was also excellent. We all shared the potatoes and split the scrumptious Caesar Salad! Our waiter Hugo was outstanding as was the entire staff! I have worked retail and food service before retiring and whomever trains your staff is spot on! Can’t tell you how many times between myself and my husband that our napkins ended up on the floor and always like magic, we were presented with a new clean one. Everyone is on their toes watching the guests, my sister had a couple glasses of wine and the young man that pour ped them out of the carafe was perfection. Not sure how he was taught but he was excellent! We were totally made to feel at home and special. So nice that we could also share our dinners. Also cannot believe I missed this wonderful restaurant all these years. We will be back. My Amaretto Stone sour was the best I have had in years! Thanks to everyone for the best evening! We are all still talking about the wonderful meals and outstanding service.
This is our main "Go-To" place for taking out of town family and friends. And we love it for just ourselves, also. Uniquely excellent!
Amazing experience as always
Our server Ari was excellent
He took great care of us and made us feel very comfortable. Looking forward to dining with him again.!
Wonderful start to finish
Very friendly place- our waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. The appetizers were ok, the mushrooms were good, the mushroom soup was just ok. The Spencer steak was not as tender as we thought it would be but overall everything was good. The scallops were tasty.
