Great burgers

This is a hidden gem in my opinion. Went here once over the 4th of July weekend as everything else was booked and it was amazing....decided to give it a second try and it was amazing. All entrees, appetizers etc., were out of this world with tons of flavor! Our server Ali was awesome and even brought out some nice desserts even though we didn't ask.

Birthday celebration, party of six. Excellent service, excellent food, great atmosphere.

Our bartender, Margo, was the best ever!

We had a great time celebrating. Staff was attentive and food was delish. A nice splurge.

My first time dining at Eddie V’s and I will definitely be back. Fabulous ambiance, food and service.

I love coming it. I took my boyfriend for sweetest day. He loved the food, the wine, everything. Our waiter Ally was so attentive and even gave us a complimentary desert. Will go back.

Was a special time

For a first timer the waiter Brandon was very helpful. We got the African Twin lobster and bone-in ribeye steak with cheesy lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus. Provided samples of wine before purchase and a desert to finish our first time there. I’ll be back again for the service and food.

Our server was very nice. When we had an issue with our side being undercooked, au gratin potatoes, he removed it from the bill and treated us to dessert which was very nice. The dessert was delicious.. I had the 2 lobster tails which I would have preferred to be seasoned or even had a herb garlic butter instead of plain butter to go with, but ehh. I would consider going back to try another seafood item.

I typically eat at the bar. Mark and Margo are exceptionally professional and give terrific service and attend to all your needs. I've dined at other Eddie V's location and this one is certainly at the top or VERY near the top of my list. Their Crab Cake is beyond phenomenal!

This was my first time at Eddie V's & I loved the music that was playing, the ambiance, & service. The only issue of the evening was my boyfriends steak...it was not the best cut of meat having way too much fat for the price. I had the crab cake & we split the lobster cheddar mash potatoes & sautéed spinach which were all delicious.

My birthday was ruined. Horrible & disrespectful service. What a shame I choose to celebrate my birthday there and traveled from Florida to Chicago and I regret going there. The Eddie Vs in Orlando and in Tampa are outstanding.

Decided to go b/c I've heard some many good things. Service was excellent but food was just "OK". Filet was delicious but sides (brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes) were overcooked and not as flavorful as I would have liked. Way to overpriced for dull flavor.

Everything was PREFECT

My scallops were under cooked and the crab on the filet was chewy and fishy. Not up to expectations for a place ranked so high. Service from Matt was great

I came home to visit family and a good friend of mine wanted to go out to dinner. She suggested Eddie V’s since she had been before. We had a great time and our waitress was awesome. I totally forgot her name and that is really bad because she was so sweet. Thank you for your service and delicious food Eddy V’s. (Order was jumbo crab cake, sautéed spinach, mash and lobster)

Very polite staff. They made my friends birthday very special with the champagne and desert!

Great ambiance would definitely come back again. Maybe a private party next time.

One of my all time favorites. Been eating here since 1998 when they were in the strip mall in Cal City. Tried the lemongrass beef as an appetizer. It was amazing!!! Grilled flavor with delicious sweet Thai sauce on a bed of cucumber, carrots and greens. I opted for my ole faithful, pad woon sen. Glass noodles with chicken, shrimp, and an array of veggies including mushrooms. My daughter had Pad Thai and my other daughter had chicken wings. Hubby had the sugar cane salmon, which was pieces of salmon served in a pot in a sweet juicy sauce. We also had avocado rolls as an appetizer. They were good but nothing spectacular. Suffice it to say, I will continue to go.

Alicat was amazing. This was my second time getting her. Our food was out in a timely manner and it was cool to perfection. Wonderful Birthday card.

Eddie Vs does a lovely special birthday flaming dessert that my girlfriend loved. The service was very professional and the food extraordinary.

Shoutout to Margo and Matt best damn bartenders in Chicago. They are the heartbeat of Eddie Vs. They know drinks! They know the menu! They know customer service! Exceptional every time!

Great i loved it

This was my first visit to Eddie V's per the recommendation of a friend for good seafood! I absolutely loved it, from appetizers to desert! The waiter Matt was amazing. Per our request he made us Mocktails that were superb. I will definitely be back. This is now one of my new favorite Restaurants and I will be recommending them to others! There is a dress code- business casual. No sandals or open toe shoes allowed. The ambiance is soft and dimly light atmosphere. The menu is more on the pricey side but well worth it!
