Edgar's Grille - Augusta

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Augusta. I highly recommend it.

Definitely competed with the “big boys.” Food was amazing and appreciate their partnership with hospitality and culinary students/education.

Perfect!

So enjoyable. Able to sit outside under heater. Food was fabulous as always. People space was excellent. Buffet set up gave plenty of room and servers wonderful.

Booked a table for the Sunday Brunch period and had a great time in Edgar's. Staff are great and the set up is welcoming and diverse in the foods available. Love our trips to Edgar's Grille.

This was our first time eating at Edgar’s. Ambiance was nice, service was excellent, drinks were good but the food was a bit of a let down. Extremely salty and not really a lot of flavor. My wife ordered the local country boil which was good but definitely need bread to soak up the sauce. It was good overall experience.

Our New Year's Eve tradition is to eat at Edgar's Grille and they never disappoint. Excellent Food and Service.

Our experience there was great. We usually pick a restaurant every year on Christmas Eve to eat at and this one was our choice again this year.

I always enjoy the great food and beautiful hospitality from everyone when we visit. It’s always a pleasure to eat here. Sunday brunch is the best.

Everything was great!! Our server Dylan was the best, very attentive and extremely pleasant. The food was delicious l, would love to see more food choices on the menu but overall my visit was wonderful.

Food, service and ambiance were all top notch. Can't wait to have brunch there again soon!

Was great a little to much salt on mashed potato’s

Edgar’s is the best looking restaurant in town which is overshadowed by the worst meal we have had in Augusta in years! A mediocre salad and inedible fish entree for a high price. We should have sent the entire meal back and driven through Captain D’s ...the fish would have been better. Just don’t offer fish on the menu if the kitchen doesn’t know how to cook it!

Let me first say the Filet mignon was cooked a perfect Medium Rare. Wonderful steak & Brussel sprouts! Oyster chowder was delicious. Cabernet Sauvignon was very good. The only complaint is Service: server was mediocre she seemed scattered, in a hurry, all over the place...and called me sweetie...I’m old enough to be her mother so it was a bit condescending. Edgar’s really needs more training for wait staff our server was on “Applebee’s” level service. Our entrees arrived before wine service, but overall it was a good experience. Amanda, the manager that night, is excellent and we’ll definitely be back to eat at Edgar’s!

Lovely outdoor seating, the food and dessert was DELICIOUS. We'll definitely be coming back. Our server was fantastic. Very informative and outgoing. Immediately seated and very short wait time for food and drinks. On a Friday evening.

Not my first experience but it was great. The only issue I had was the was the water had a funny smell. My server took care of it immediately though.

We loved the experience. It was wonderful to see these young people operating the restaurant.

The waiter was very attentive and the ambiance was nice and quiet. They had Martinis in the happy hour menu and they were perfectly made. The food came out hot and well season. The mac and cheese is very cheesy and I love the crumbles on top.

The pork chop was outstanding. The filet was also. Our third party could not believe how good the seafood and grits was. Can't wait to come back.

We love Edgars and have enjoyed eating there on their the years. Little disappointed with the new Chief. This is a pricey place and you expect it to be a classy experience. The past Chief always has a little something special he made that day to bring to the table. The bread was presented well and also the food. The new Chief seems to be simplifying the effort. Bread looked like it came from wifesaver, no special jams or offerings. Food has been hit and miss. Last time appetizers were overcooked, vegetables undercooked. Still love the place and will try again. Gotta bring the game everyday Chief!

Went here for dinner. Disappointed in the food quality for the price. The service was good and the outdoor court was very nice as well. Just wish the food was better

The food was good, as it usually is. The service, for the first time, was subpar. The waitress rarely came by, the food took a longggggg time to arrive and one of the sides was wrong (furthermore, by the time it was corrected, we had finished our dinner). These are students, so they have to be accorded some leeway for learning, so it wasn't as big a deal as it would have been at a regular restaurant. On the other hand, prices had gone up substantially in the last few months, so maybe they should be judged as any other restaurant would be.

Had not been to Edgar's in about a year. This time to our surprise it was set up as a buffet. So major lost of ambiance, service, and ability to order what I was looking forward to. Staff was very helpful and professional. It was less of an experience than I was looking forward to. Yeah Covid-19

Covid-19 compliant. They have a small buffet with servers. Food was good but I myself liked the old way of serve yourself.

You don't need to post this. I go to Edgar's only for really special times as it is a bit expensive for me, The food was absolutely wonderful. I would have appreciated used dishes being cleared more quickly though.

Great service, great food, young lady (the receptionist ) waiting on us was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed, especially the caramel sundae!!!!!!

Plenty of food. Enjoyed the small plates and regional main dishes.
