El Mariachi never disappoints for brunch! The food portions are massive , the customer service is fantastic and the pours don’t stop happening . The patio allowed for perfect social distancing and we had a personal heater for our table ! I had a guest in town and she loved it! Thanks as always 😊

Went here after a game of golf at the Waveland Golf Course. Nice patio for outdoor dining and friendly service. Extensive bar list and very good food!

Great time, great food, great service, great deals, but lots of bees

Lovely atmosphere but the service was definitely lacking. Everyone was kind, but we waited 20+ min for our first round of drinks and then only 2 of the 4 were brought and 1 of those was incorrect.

Then the 3rd drink came out and the final drink came another 10 minutes later.

We were not reapproached after entrees arrived except to give our bill.

However, The patio space is very nice.

Really good Mexican food and margaritas! We had a pitcher of Mango house margarita and also had a coconut pineapple margarita, both were really good. The chips that they give are different than most Mexican restaurant but they were great. Carne asada was cooked to perfection. No more table side guacamole, totally understandable but they should inform you when you order that. Service was still great by every staff member.

I’ve been here many times, all have been great experiences - this time was different. Short staffed, it took 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks, I normally have about 10 refills throughout the duration of my stay, I was given 3. The bees were absolutely terrible (5 were constantly at our table) I couldn’t even enjoy my brunch because they were so bad. We had to move inside because of the constant swarm of them. Hopefully next time will be better.

Took one hour to get our order in from the beginning of walking in. This was with the reservation. Never told patio is first come first serve. The server took a long time to get our order. We received the wrong drink. The patio was loud. The food was good but will never eat at the restaurant again.

Our server Aurora was AMAZING! This is my 2nd time here and I’m not disappointed.

Enjoyed the outdoor patio ambiance and music. The bottomless mimosa brunch is also a great deal! Food was ok and service as alright as well. Waitress could have made better rounds towards the end but understand if she was swamped with many tables.

Make sure you clarify what you're asking for. Some of the servers speak English as their second language (makes everything authentic), but because of the masks, there can be misunderstandings. We asked for pineapple margaritas, but got regular and it was not offered to switch it. Also, I had asked specifically what was in the burrito I ordered, but it came with other things. Again, I think it was just a misunderstanding in communication. We will definitely go back!

The coconut RioGrande margarita tasted like lemon the food wasnt real Mexican it has a American twist to it but it felt good to get out during this pandemic

Service and food is always great. The social distancing and mask ordinance are being obliged and I felt very comfortable dining here as usual.

It was a lot of fun! There was a group of 8 in our party and even with the Covid restrictions they were able to accommodate us sitting in 2 groups of 4. We very much appreciated that! The music was a little too loud but other than that I would recommend checking it out. The brunch deal was so worth it and I’m sure we will be back again! Make a reservation!

Love El Mariachi! Never had a problem there. I’ve eaten on their patio three times but in the past week. It’s beautiful out there but I just wish they’d turn the music down a little bit. It’s very hard to hear the servers and other people in my own party.

Great outdoor seating, great consistent service, multiple options.

While we reserved an outdoor seating they didn’t give us outdoor seating. The manager mentioned it s on first come first serve basis even if we reserved an outdoor seating Time slot. There were 3 open tables outside so not sure why they didn’t offer us. Manager asked us to wait for 30mins outside until table is available. We went to order some drinks and then manager is like “ok we can give you a table”. Not sure why he hesitated to give the table at first. Service was extremely slow. Manager blamed open table for having the outdoor reservation option.

Was a great sunday funday brunch spot. Everyone had fun and enjoyed their food.

Delicious margaritas and we enjoyed the enchiladas. We were concerned about social distancing, but they put us on a 2nd story balcony with only three tables. It was a magical date night.

Short-staffed, took too long for service. Drinks were delicious, food was mostly good too. Would come back for the drinks.

Will be great once the new windows are in. Eating great food in a construction zone now.

Birthday celebration

They weren’t very busy and our food took a very long time to come out. We felt like an after thought.

It is good but needs some help. The restaurant is nice but the service lacked a lot and was not very good. No follow up.

I wasn't crazy about the food, it tastes like tex- mex, and not authentic Mexican cuisine, the margaritas weren't that great, it was so sweet you couldn't enjoy the Margarita, too much syrup, not a fan.

I love this place! Great value for bottomless mimosa brunch and the wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Griselda was a great server. Chips and salsa are amazing too!

My favorite brunch in the city!!!

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at El Mariachi and it used to be one of my favorite places to go. They sat us in the private dining room in the back and knot had one server who was clearly frustrated and it showed in his service. We had to wait 10 minutes to even get a drink order. The food, when it finally arrived was cold. It had clearly been sitting in the window for some time. The eggs were dry and the “ crunchy hash browns” in the Buenos Dias Skillet were mushy. The check was I correct but he was no where to he found to let him know. I will never go back to this place again.
