Eleven South Bistro

Great food, really good service, and were treated special for our anniversary. Would recommend for anyone.

Eleven South has always been a fun place to have a great meal. We had a reservation but always enjoying the bar, we found two seats available and cancelled the anniversary reservation. The hostess was very kind and agreeable to our decision. She even wished us a happy anniversary.
We were there almost 15 minutes before the bar asked what we wanted to drink, no worries. The Eleven South martini for a drink starter hit the spot. The apps were very good, mussels and escargot.
I ordered the large filet medium rare and the brussel sprouts side. My bride ordered the pear salad. The filet came out warm but not hot and the meat was like a piece from Publix. No offense to Publix but the best selections come from other places. The brussel sprouts were also just warm and not special at all. The bride said the pear salad was very good. Hard to mess that up. Well, I guess you can, but...
The red wine was exceptional, always is!
The vibe was awesome, I just didn’t feel Eleven South’s food for me lived up to their high standards of my past visits. I will try again, but please keep it more on point!

Beautiful ambiance, truly fantastic service, and delicious food. We absolutely love this restaurant and it has earned all the accolades it receives.

Except, we will wait until we are fully vaccinated before we return as the tables “outside” were extremely close together, not 6 feet apart and only staff were wearing masks - customers walking to and from the restrooms were not. The setting was actually reminiscent of pre Covid times which unfortunately, due to our age and the sharp rise in Covid cases, made us uncomfortable to the point we left without having dessert.

We love this restaurant and are there every week or two. I brought my daughter and her fiancé on Friday. Service, menu and food were typically spectacular.

Good food and service however we had very loud neighbors. Oh well!

The experience was excellent. Certainly someone who is phobic about COVID might wish to dine here at a later date.

Hoping for a more quiet intimate experience. The noise level was loud and festive. Will avoid that issue in the future by not dining at peak times.

The food was delicious. Fish dishes cooked to perfection. The nuance of flavors was wonderful. Portion size was generous. Wine list was thoughtful and reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend this place to friends. The only down side is the lack of parking.

I usually go there for lunch but luckily I made it there for dinner. We sat outside and it was wonderful. Service and food outstanding. Get the escargot!

ElevenSouth is probably our favorite restaurant! We love it here! Always a good timed whether it’s with a group of friends or a date night!

The mushroom bisque was the best I have had. Salmon was also delicious with sides listed. This is a very exceptional dining experience. Expensive- well worth it. Wonderful experience! My hats for to the chefs and servers!

This place is amazing!! The food is definitely something to write about. Everything that we order was delicious and well made. The chef is really good!!! And just so you know, I am a picky eater and I like to go to high end places to eat and this is up there with the quality!
The bread....OMG super yummy! The only problem that I encounter in this place is that we are in the middle of a pandemic and the place was packed of people inside without masks:-Obviously we made reservations to eat outdoors but we had to come in to go to the patio and that was crazy....covid hub for sure!
But what a great place to have good food and wine:-)

New Year’s Eve

My husband and I had NYE dinner at Eleventh South and it was an incredible dinner along with incredible service. Would highly recommend going here.

Always a beautiful atmosphere and delicious well presented food!!

It was crowded and near the entrance and bar area was no social distancing and patrons weren’t wearing masks.

My favorite place at the beaches! Food, drinks, and service are always on point!

Our second time there and we’ll keep coming back. It’s our go to stop as we travel between Charleston and South Florida. Great food, great service!

I don’t understand why you have valet parking. It would have been much quicker to walk to the car rather than stand outside in the cold.

Great service and ambience. Smaller venue that is intimiate. Perfect for special occasions and holidays.

Great Staff Great Food ! A must visit if you’re looking for a Good Experience!

Everything was excellent from Tuna Tartare to Octopus and the entrees. Only comment is that the Paella was miss leading as it was too bright and not baked in. Seafood in it was good.

Service was slow and relaxed, but very good. Not fast food.

Food and service excellent! We were seated next to a table of four very energized and loud young ladies. However, even their loud laughter didn’t take away from our very enjoyable food experience.

Eleven South is a wonderful restaurant with great food, wine, drinks and service.

This is a great experience for fine dining in Jacksonville Beach.

It's tucked off the beaten path, so you don't feel like you're fighting the crowds for a good meal.

The New York cut was great and the sides are delicious, but the real star is the dessert menu. Their homemade fresh blueberry cobbler with ice cream was a fantastic way to finish a fine evening.

We eat at this restaurant at least twice a week. We love the staff and the owner. The restaurant is slowly deteriorating. The food is not prepared well (had to send dinner back twice) and they don’t seem to care. I am so disappointed that the restaurant can’t find anybody that can cook. The Chef’s are horrible and should go back to cooking school. The service was great (Elsa) but she can’t undo the poor performance of the kitchen. Very embarrassing, get it fixed.
