Emory's on Silver Lake
We were very happy with the service and the food.
Excellent food and great service for a special Birthday Celebration
Timing was a little off, not clearing previous plates before bringing us new plates and expecting us to move them for the server. Food was good cocktails where great timing was a little off.
Was a delightful experience and we had a great time overall.
Celebrated our 25th Anniversary.
Great service, great food. Wanted to sit outdoors but not available, booth was fine. All personnel wearing masks, we felt safe. Had a good time!
Everything was wonderful. We had the New York steak and burgundy beef they were both delicious. The service was great, the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will be back to try other dishes.
Not many people there at all, had their burger which is normally pretty awesome that not not so much, under down and when asked if it had pickles was told no but found 6. Friend had the some and had a bite left and was going to finish but the server took it away. Felt very rushed and we were there under an hour but once we paid they left us alone. This is usually our neighborhood go to place so it was a pretty disappointing experience.
My husband & I went and had the kosmo martini and seafood risotto. Both were the best either of us have ever had! I highly recommend this place and we will be back soon!
Great dinner 😊
This is my favorite restaurant, love the food and the atmosphere, nice view of the lake even though is winter time
The experience overall was great. Our server was friendly and the food and drinks were good. My steak was very rare and I asked for it medium well, so that was a little disappointing considering the price, but it still tasted okay. The atmosphere was good too, I loved the view of the water from our table. It was a very good experience overall.
My mom and I decided to go out to a nice dinner as a celebration for moving to Washington state. The food did not disappoint! I had a lavender lemon drop with hints of huckleberry and the rainbow trout stuffed with crab. It was delicious! My moms had the Alaskan cod and that was equally delicious. We were seated outside near the fireplace and the temperature was perfect, we were concerned it would be a little bit cold but it was very comfortable.
Service was wonderful as usual, and our food was lovely. The lake view by our window table was beautiful as well. This place makes celebrating special events, like b-days, so memorable. Love the complimentary photo keepsake- wish more upscale places had this special touch.
Steak was under cooked and tempura prawns had no dipping sauce. Best wax blue cheese salad
Two birthday dinners. Fine time. Felt safe!
Birthday dinner OK pork chop was a little dry fish was good but nothing outstanding. They seem to have all their safety for Covid in place and running smoothly and I appreciated that. Our server was friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed
Had a fabulous Anniversary dinner. We were nervous about choosing to eat in a restaurant right now, but it was great. The place only had a few other guests and there was plenty of space to keep distanced. Plus they added plexiglass screens between tables.
This our go to celebration place and it was so nice to be able to do so and feel safe. The staff were all super helpful, friendly, conscientious and wore masks.
I had a reservation (3 person) for patio outdoor seating and waited for 45 minutes before we got seated. A couple walked in and was seated for patio ahead of us. So, I asked them why, they said that the patio seating is no reservation but first come first serve. Plus the available seat was high top but it was not offered to us at all. I told and showed them my reservation a confirmed outside seating. Totally disappointed with the way the hostesses manners about the whole thing.
Thank you for your review. We do not accept reservations for outdoor dining, which is explained when making the reservation. There was an OpenTable glitch that was allowing guests to select the patio as a preference when booking. Once made aware, we worked to fix it. Due to the current pandemic, we only have 7 tables outside, which makes it impossible for us to reserve that area. We always do our best to accommodate special requests, and hope you can enjoy outdoor seating soon.
It was a wonderful safe venue to celebrate my husband's birthday. Great food, service, and of course view.
We have visited Emory's several times over the years and even had a large gathering of 30 people for my retirement party. Their service has always been very very good and their food is excellent. We love the ambiance at Emory's!
Emorys always provides excellent food and service!
It is always nice to come to Emorys for any meal and enjoy the environment and the view.
Biggest disappointment was that the food was barely warm when served.
Nice folks, very tasty sea bass presentation. Bisque was a bit thick. COVID protections in place bu dampens the ambience inevitably. Will return; enjoyed it.
Patrick was a very attentive server
Overall wonderful experience for my husbands birthday 👍👍👍👍👍
The first time I visited, the food was way better . This time I would say it was just ok, not impressed. I had the filet mignon and I ordered medium plus, it was more like well done and my daughter’s medium rare was about what I expected from mine. Also the portion and quality was not like the time I came in the summer. The bill was pricey, so just for special occasion. The service was great. I will give it another try hoping the food will be better.
Our dinner was excellent. We have been to Emorys many times and this time did not disappoint. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive throughout out our meal. Ambiance was very good, comfortable. They have taken advantage of the covid restrictions to enhance table arrangements to ensure safe social distancing. Wonderful experience.
Ambience and service was very good. Food quality was ok. Vegetables quality was not good. Grilled fish was OK.
I love eating out at Emory's. My personal experience this last time and during the COVID pandemic was ok. I was a bit disappointed with our seating. We were seated at a both for two with an extra long table with chairs. I felt almost cafeteria style and would have preferred a much better seating arrangement as there were more than 2 in our party. Lesson learned that next time I'll make sure a much better seating arrangement is provided, especially for the price of the meals.
Very good food. Very limited selection for vegetarians. Did well with seating and covid rules. Made my wife's birthday special with a selection of a photo or a hot fudge Sunday. Portions were very reasonable. Prices on the high side - 1 main dish and 3 appetizers, no drinks, $80+ without tip. They're also adding a 2% service charge to compensate for higher employee medical costs. OK by me...
We typically only go here on special occasions because we couldn't afford it on any regular basis. So, maybe 1 time per year - birthdays or anniversaries.
Emory’s is generally consistently good or very good with food, service, and ambiance. The two dinners were only fair when we visited. Filet cooked medium when we requested medium rare. Asian sea bass was slightly dry and fishy. Side dish was okay.
Emory’s never disappoints-
Covid-19 preparation was exemplary, food was prepared to perfection and the service was phenomenal.
Do yourself a favor and make a reservation for lunch or dinner. You’ll find Emory’s is a welcoming oasis in this time where we all need one.
Nice work Emory’s!
Beautiful setting, relaxed ambience, and excellent menu.
Great service, great food. Plan to go back. Would highly recommend for special occasions or a date night
We were told that we were limited to 90 minutes even though there were few dining. Drinks, appetizers and then dinner took up 90 minutes. We had to skip dessert as our time was up. So much for a leisurely dinner with friends. We hadn’t to Emory’s in a while and will not return. We thought the food was marginal before and still is. My dinner was barely warm. I ordered Beef Burgundy. It was all mashed potatoes with 3 small chunks of beef and more potatoes except these were the baby ones then all covered with gravey. Other dinners were also not hot and the entre salad was not enough for dinner very skimpy. Sooo disappointed . 😢
Thanks, Linda. We are encouraging our guests to limit their dining experience to 1.5 hours during this phase due to the CDC recommending people limit their time in any establishment. We should have been mindful of your experience and not made you feel rushed, as 1.5 hours was a standard seating time in our restaurant for a party of 5-7 pre-pandemic. We also request that you bring any dissatisfaction to your server or manager so we have an opportunity to fix any oversight that may occur.
Wonderful atmosphere, especially on the deck with the fireplace and heating systems above. Food is great, and we enjoyed trying newer items on the menu. Will be returning!
Nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Took complimentary pictures of us to remember our anniversary.
Everyone was very nice.
I would recommend Emory’s on Silver Lake to everyone.
My filet was exactly as ordered, garlic mashed potatoes great taste, a bit cold. Green beans were not good, as they were stringy. My wifes risoto was excellent.
We had the grilled Octopus salad and the Seabass. They were superb.
Our server Patrick was perfectly attentive without making us feel rushed or hurried.
I feel the 1.5 hours to eat and drink is a great idea, it’s more than enough time to have a full 3 -4 course dinner with drinks and allows the ability for others to enjoy a meal out as well.
The hostesses are excellent as well!
Great place, excellent staff and delicious food!
The food is consistently great and the view is wonderful.
