Enza's Italian Restaurant

The service the last two visits was extremely slow. Once seated we waited 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order or anything. Once they finally did, we literally waited 20 minutes before we got our drinks. At which time our friends had joined us so they placed their drink order and that took another 20 or so minutes. Unfortunately, we didn't order anymore drinks. The Sea Bass portion was so small and not worth the money. We love Enza's but haven't had much luck there, lately.

We have been to Enza's about 5 times prior to this visit and the food was always good.
This time we started with calamari fritti and main plates were chicken francese and a salad with shrimp. The food was average; nothing notable to write about. Many of the restaurant guests were not wearing face masks and tables were not separated by six feet. We are seniors and this made us feel uncomfortable. Service was good.

We had to flag down the staff a couple of times as they were busy that night. The food was really good.

We love Enza’s. The food and service is outstanding. For my money, Enza’s is the best Italian food in the Mandarin area. We eat there often and will keep going back.

Great experience as always. I had the chicken parmesan which was delicious. Their cocktails were superb and as always, service was outstanding!

The food was delicious and well season. Looking forward to a return visit to Enza.

I’m glad we went. I booked this restaurant due to my sisters 21st birthday and I am glad I did. Such a nice comfortable environment, service was great as well. The only thing that kinda was a little sad is my friend ordered one meal and they discontinued it and then she ordered lamp chops and they didn’t have any more. Overall good experience will definitely come again.

Good Italian food and nice atmosphere, wait staff was very attentive. Crowded so I would definitely make reservations

I introduced a friend to my recent discovery, Enzas’s. We were seated on time and service was prompt and very pleasant. Both meals were delicious and my friend who can be picky, ate her entire meal. My dish had soo many large shrimp I could not eat all of them. We will certainly return again soon.

Date night with my hubby. Always a great place to experience lovely ambience with live piano serenading diners, & fantastic homemade food.

Restaurant was very busy Friday night. While server (Eric) was excellent the kitchen was very backed up and the food was delayed. All tables were occupied and no distancing was possible. Overall food was good, but a bit pricey for portion size.

Great food and service

A little off on this visit. Server was fully engaged, support by the kitchen was a bit slow. I did not note the time between ordering and delivery of food but all three of us did note it took some time for the food the arrive.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Jacksonville. Plenty of parking and right off I-295 @ San Jose Blvd. We had a reservation at 6pm and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The staff were prompt with the drink order and advised us of the daily specials. We had six people and everybody(including two teenagers) loved their meals. My shrimp scampi was perfect as was my wife's shrimp francese. Great menu selections from which to choose dinner. I finished up with spumoni for dessert and loved it.

Our family of four was discussing our meal. We all felt that we have had better food in the past at Enza’s. We will return to try again but last Saturday was not up to our expectations.

Delicious as usual. Our server (Josh?) was excellent.

Service was very good with some areas of opportunities. Food was short of expectation. Felt all dishes were bland and over sauced. The pastas seemed over cooked instead of being al dente. True Italian dishes are different and very tasty.

This restaurant along with the food, service and ambience is absolutely the best in Jacksonville. We were out with friends and everybody’s meal was absolutely amazing and Stephanie services we’re just the best. Sam, their great bartender, came over and crafted our bottle of wine we had brought with us and gave us a warm greeting as she always does. The wait staff there is always cordial, courteous and very professional. Their pianist, Carl, is worth the visit to this restaurant as his piano playing skills are perfectly aligned to the service and quality....Simply the Best!!!!!!
I highly recommend a visit to this amazing culinary delight located in Mandarin if your taste buds have a craving for some great Italian food, high quality service and the sounds of joy fit for a King and Queen!!!!

We were really happy with our experience. Our sever was excellent and made great suggestions, and the entire night was perfect. Food was delicious and the value was impressive. I will definitely go again and would recommend to anyone.

Best Italian in town. Everything on menue is delicious. Wait staff very attentative. Very family friendly.

Our service was superb and the pasta dish with the lobster and shrimp was incredible. Very generous servings of food and everything is made in house.

Truly enjoyed our experience. We have great restaurants in Charleston but Enzas is a wonderful Italian dining experience.

The food is always consistent. My favorite Italian food in Jacksonville , Fl. Our server was ok but each time you never know who you will get. Still worth the trip.

Everything was perfect for our date night. The food was more then outstanding. My wife and I lived in Sicily for 3 years so trying to find a real authentic Carbonara is impossible in the US. But they hit it right on with the peas. Very romantic setting and I pick it because of the piano playing. We will make it a regular place!

Been a Family tradition for the last few years. Neve a disappointment!

Dane did great job. Recommended perfect wine to go with husbands lobster dish.
Lamb chops were outstanding.
Our adult son said bruschetta best he has ever had and we ordered a second one.

Enza gracious hostess and culinary genius.

Absolutely amazing food. They treat you like real Italian Family! Only place I know of in Jacksonville you can get real authentic Italian.

Excellent specials! Fabulous food! Knowledgeable servers! The food was so good,after I reheated the leftovers for lunch the next day, I licked the inside of the take home box!

Excellent food and service! Advised that it was a special occasion and would preferred a booth but all were reserved.

Meatball with sauce snd ricotta cheese was excellent. I ordered the baked ziti. I found the tomato sauce to be way too sweet. So I only had two bites of it. The cannoli was great. There is no social distancing at all. Waiters wear masks but customers are too close together...

My meal on Sunday evening was outstanding. One of the best meals I have had here. Enza's is a great place to dine. The service is always superior .

Hadn't been to Enza's in a few years, but it's always been a favorite. This night, think the kitchen was having a difficult time as food which has consistently been good was subpar and service out of the kitchen was slow.

We were seated in the bar area which is always our preference as nightly there's a pianist who is quite good. Drinks were excellent (martinis shaken to perfection).

One of the appetizers was escargot which we thought would be a nice surprise, but we were quite disappointed. They were described by the server of being prepared in a lemon garlic butter sauce. When they arrived, they were in a bowl with mushrooms, said sauce and spinach. The sauce had been thickened, perhaps with corn starch, and was really a gelatinous mess. On a plus side, they were cooked properly from the perspective of texture, but couldn't get over the poor presentation.

For a main course, we ordered the chicken piccata, which again is a favorite. The dish was very bland and again the sauce was thickened to the consistency of goo. Usually it's done well here and we were surprised at how little lemon, garlic and salt were in the dish. I remarked to my wife that the dish was practically tasteless--what my dad used to call "old folks food" and she agreed. We barely touched our food and when the server asked how it was I just asked for the check. She offered to get us something else but by this point we just wanted to go.

We will go back again as this place has always been top notch, but on this occasion the restaurant didn't measure up to our past experiences at all.

Always a great family type experience at Enza’s. Great food and great service.
