   Have been to Ernest’s a number of times. Unfortunately this time wasn’t great. Good was lousy. Maybe because it was the last day they we’re open. But other times it was delicious for the amount you pay !

   The food was not good at all. I was rather disappointed. They run out of one of the main courses which I wanted to eat (Halibut). The other two main courses were less than average.

   This is the place to come if you're looking for a 3-course meal at an amazing price. The students prepared excellent meals. Imagine when they become chefs for real! The dining room was lovely and spacious and the noise was at a minimum. We could actually hear each other's conversation. It was refreshing. One must book well in advance, they're that popular.

   Going to Ernest’s has been on my bucket list for years; it did not disappoint….beautiful presentation and delectable food! The staff are so friendly, it was a pleasure and I will definitely be back!!

    The appetizers and desserts are so yumm... But the chicken I ordered is a bit dry and not very tasty. The beef skewers were very tender and tasty. So it depends on ur luck that who cooked ur main course. We were luckily that we bought the handmade chocolates at front desk. It's impressive!

    Everything about the experience was first class from the moment we arrived at the check-in desk to the last morsel of food. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive but without being overly attentive that she disrupted the conversation with my guest. The food was exceptional in terms of quality and the quantity was perfect. The price for the set 3-course lunch menu is ridiculously good value at $16/head.

    Beyond expectations. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great birthday lunch. 3 choices for each on the menu, appetizer, main and dessert.

    Ernest’s is a gem in the City that has always exceeded my expectations. The NAIT team of staff and students demonstrating their culinary excellence is amazing. I recommend Ernest’s for any occasion. Families, business discussions, birthdays or anniversaries and such. It is special and very value priced.

    Loved our experience here. The service was attentive and professional. Food quality and presentation was impressive. We had the opportunity to provide feedback to the student chefs which was genuinely appreciated. Overall, a wonderful gem in the heart of the city. Highly recommend!

    My family and I celebrated my husband’s birthday at Ernest and from the moment we sat down the service was outstanding, the food was scrumptious and the atmosphere was beautiful. This is the best hidden treasure in Edmonton. I almost don’t want to share this special place because it will become too busy and make difficult to get a reservation. All jokes aside, I would highly recommend Ernest as a top fine dining choice for all to experience exquisite cuisine.

    Last couple of times we have been there the service was poor and most of the food was lukewarm. Examples: soup delivered without a spoon, had to ask; had to ask a couple of times for the flight of wine that came with the meal, requested coffee refill was forgotten.

    Teffin lunch is a must-try. Good value for the quality and amount of food. Would definitely go again. Reservation is needed as the place was quite busy.

    I would describe our lunch at Ernest’s as an experience in dining, not simply a lunch date. Everything was incredible from the greeting to the final chocolate at the end of the meal. Every plate that came to our table was exquisitely put together and tasted as good as it looked.(didn’t think to take pics) If I had to note a negative, it would be the time; it’s Defs not a quick bite for lunch kind of place, so not a great choice if you are in a rush. But if you have the time to spare, you won’t be disappointed.

    Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! Everyone was so attentive and passionate about their work! The food was delicious and its presentation - superb! The only minor complaint is that we had to wait over an hour for our main courses - it's likely due to the new budding chefs trying to make everything perfect. Please support our students and book a table but maybe be prepared to wait a little - enjoy the company and the ambiance :) Cheers!

    We brought our out-of-town guest to Ernest's for her birthday and found the menu varied and creative. Our food was beautifully presented and all of us commented on the variety of textures colors and tastes. The 3-course celebration lunch was a HIT!! Highly recommended by all three of us!!
