Cool atmosphere and good drink selection. Decent sized portions. Service was a little slow but we didn’t mind since they didn’t hold us to the 90 minute max time.

Cold food, warm drinks, very overpriced for the quality. Apps were the best part of the meal

We went with friends for dinner on Saturday night- the drinks were amazing- service was fast and efficient - and the dinner portions were perfect! Everyone practiced social distancing - and everything was clean.

We were excited to get out on New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere was very festive. The wait staff was great and the food was delicious. I was just a little disappointed with the paella marinera, it was a little mushy and it said there was lobster in it. There was a half a a tiny lobster tail, I think they could have spared the other half for $32. The drinks were good and the desert was excellent!

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times with friends for appetizers and drinks. Always good and in pre-COVID-19 times , always packed. This time was me and another person. The restaurant was not crowded at all but service was slower for some reason. In the end, the food was delicious but the ambience was different given the social distancing and lack of music and ambiance.

Music was at a perfect level. You can hear each other. Staff was awesome. The manager Christian was fabulous.

Besides the parking downtown, I would highly recommend this restaurant to residents and visitors of New Brunswick.

Our food was delicious. Always a great meal at Esquina Latina! Must have the empanadas and tostones. I love all of the appetizers as well as the main entrees.

The food was great! The service was top notch! The drinks very good!

The meal and service were very good. Highly recommend the sangrias as they have all different types. We did an assortment of 7 different appetizers and desserts. Churros were very good for dessert as well.

Too many people inside and too small outside patio. Food was ok. Service was good.

Ended up eating at the bar, had a great time with my friend...

Great spot of you are looking to dine with friends or a date and enjoy a vibrant, colorful ambiance and Latin music.

Do not order strip steak they serve it with a huge fat piece down the middle after they butterflied it & it was 31$ not much meat. Mofongo was mushy & not from the sauce. Moro had no flavor. I’m of Puerto Rican descent & I know Puerto Rican /cuban cuisine Empanadas were decent & drinks as well. Place is lively & nicely decorated.

The place was very upbeat and had a relaxing vibe. Food was delicious, drinks were outstanding, and our server was very friendly. My only complaint is that even though I had made a reservation, we had no choice but to sit outside not even on the main patio, just in the parking lot where it was cold and dark. Some outdoor heaters would have been nice! Next time I go, I’ll bring a heavier jacket!

One of my favorite places in New Brunswick. The service is always good and the food is delicious.

We were seated on the back patio .. service was patchy .. drinks were ok . Only the food presentation was good.. but the two fish entrees were ok. The veg paella is a no go.
May not go back..

Service was slow and ambiance is average at this point, being we chose to sit outside for the last of the quarantine situation. The food is always consistent but we were sad to find out they were still operating on a restricted menu. the tres leches is crazy over priced and not even all that impressive.
The manager came to speak with us and has intentions of returning to a normal menu next week although not everything from pre-COVID is guaranteed to make the menu 🙁.
We enjoyed our happy hour experience as it was outside but I am curious to see how it will be once it gets cold out and outdoor dining is no longer an option. I am optimistic that we will return to “normal” soon although I am not optimistic we will be dancing any time soon.

Restaurant rating for ambiance effected by the fact that our dinner was during the dining outside mandate on a very traffic noisy street.

I was craving empanadas and they did not disappoint! We have plans to go back and try all the rest of them because they were so good. Also tried two margaritas, both amazing and a great blend of flavors.

Service was awesome, not sure if our server was the only front of house staff member on or if there was one other, but regardless he was quick, attentive, and pleasant.

Even though we were set up in the parking lot and it drizzled a bit in the beginning the ambiance was nice. Music was upbeat but not too loud and it still felt cozy.

It was like someone opened their kitchen to give us the best food!

I’m never disappointed when I come here. Great food, great service and great ambience. The music they play is also good too.

They have limited their menu and raised their prices since the pandemic started.

We had a lovely evening outside! They have a fan that made the evening just perfect! The food was delicious and well prepared. We had all the appetizers and the special paella. Delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

Experience was overall good, great service and seating. Loved the decorations. Just wish they had more options for the drinks because some people might not want alcohol and would to drink here so some juices and sodas should be included in their menu. Also the seating was a littles close and it was diagonally. Besides that everything was A-Okay!

The food was just okay. Nothing to brag about. The staff was friendly.

Food was eh, okay. However, we ordered a paella. No idea what it was we actually ate. No seafood in it and was more like yellow rice with a flavorless guisado on top. Very small portion for $32-36 and no seafood. That was not Paella and I was too hungry at that point to send it back and order something else.

The food for my lady was good the salmon, but my steak just wasn’t as good as I had it before...

Sadly this was disappointing food was average to poor, ceviche was excellent however! Vaca Frits was dry, salmon just ok.
Noise level was way too loud and our waitress was overworked and although she was lovely she was not able
To meet the needs of every table.
