Farm Neck Cafe

We had not been to the restaurant in a while and we are both really happy we returned. The service, food and ambiance were all excellent!!! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem on Martha's Vineyard. We ate a flatbread and the prime rib special. We finished the meal with a cheesecake. It was really delicious and can't wait go back.

We had a wonderful dining experience at FarmNeck. The food was delicious, I had the Halibut special which was cooked to perfection, we had great drinks, and our server Adriana was exceptional. Not to mention the manager stoped by our table twice to check if everything was perfect. Highly recommend!
P.S. the view is spectacular also

I these extremely trying times it was a great experience to feel safe out having Dinner with Friends. As usual the entire staff did a great job.

My husband and I have not felt safe dining in restaurants since Covid, but after reading a few reviews, we decided to try Farm Neck Cafe. From the moment we arrived, our experience was wonderful. The staff was professional and extremely friendly and helpful. The manager, Pascal, stopped by our table as we were trying to choose a bottle of wine, and he suggested a delicious wine for us. We shared the scallop appetizer, and the bay scallops were so good, surrounded by corn bread hash with bacon. Our dinners were the bolognese and salmon, both seasoned to perfection. We shared a summer berry tart for dessert. It was the perfect ending to our meal. There were many other diners, and tables were spaced out to feel safe. There were heaters spaced out around the tent, and it was warm and comfortable. The entire evening was lovely.

Last weekend for dinner outside in a tent. Will continue to go for lunch. Food quality is always excellent. Service too. Beautiful setting looking out on the golf course.

Staff are top notch. Our server was friendly, professional and helpful. All staff were very nice, and attentive. The food is very good, and the wine list is excellent.

Great setting, comfortable, never felt rushed. We were able to relax and enjoy good conversation.

They made the most of the Covid situation with a large tent that had great ambiance! I had the salmon and it was fabulous!! Highly recommend!

As usual a wonderful dining experience. Overlooking the first hole as the sun goes down never gets old. Great wine list. Lovely meal. Incredible ambiance.

This restaurant is off the beaten path, away from the crowds and activity of downtown Oak Bluffs but definitely worth the trip. The venue is strikingly beautiful, with a large tent set up overlooking the golf course and lots of candles and ambient lighting. The service was professional and friendly and the staff had great recommendations. The food was AMAZING! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the "everything bagel" crust was a nice addition as was the gremolata aioli. The others in my group had cod loin (so fresh and light) and a special hake which was also delicious. Don't skip dessert... the Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake is well worth the calories!

Awsome food and service. Best restaurant on the Vineyard.

Lovely ambiance with warm lights in the large, pretty tent. Tables were 8-10’ apart. Tent heaters kept us nice and warm on a cool and rainy night.

The outdoor dining tent is wonderful. We enjoyed our 48th Anniversary here, comfortably surrounded by attentive staff and other dining guests who all were taking care to be safe.

Our meal was freshly sourced, the menu had something good for everyone, including children, and they even played our wedding song!.

The owner was lovely on the phone when he called to confirm our party of 11, once about a week out and again the day before. But when we arrived, he was rough and harsh about seating arrangements. We understand it is COVID. We all know it is. Since March, we’ve all been dealing with COVID.

But our seating arrangements couldn’t be accommodated even though we were told on the phone twice that they could be, and even though we understood completely that it might not be, Pascal was rude about it, saying things like “you’re going to get me shut down,” and “we cannot accommodate this many,” even thought he was well aware that we were a party of 11. I feel like if he couldn’t accommodate us, then why keep confirming the reservation? We get it, all businesses are suffering. But don’t keep a reservation for a party of 11 and then be rude to the entire party about it. We had 6 adults and 5 children.

Our server was Roma and she was incredible. She served both of our tables and was so attentive and kind.

The food was not 5 star or even 4 star. This place is ambience ambience ambience. That’s what the big deal is. Huge white tent with lights overlooking some flowers and golf course. That’s what you’re paying for. I had the ravioli, which was dry on the inside even thought it was sitting in a bunch of jus. Scallops are TINY for any scallop dish. Food was under seasoned as a whole. Husband got the beef tenderloin. Very under seasoned even with the herbed butter. Not worth what we paid at all.

The dessert was lovely. I had the berry dessert. Def could’ve used some more Bavarian cream as it was the tiniest dollop ever. Also cappuccino was made perfectly. Drinks were good, too.

All in all, it was not 5 star dining. We were ready to experience some great food with our family and it was lackluster at best. We were told that this was a “fancy-ish” place which is what we were looking for. But for the money we spent, it was not worth it. Not at all.

It was beautiful with all the flowers. They did a great job of social distancing and we are recommending it to our friends who are seniors and worried about going out to eat. We did go very early (5:15) and would do that again.

Wonderful experience. They were absolutely lovely (even with our two kids, ages 2 and 3.5 who weren’t always the most quiet). Open space under a marquee, tables well spaced, beautiful atmosphere, very good food, wonderful waitstaff and management, and space to explore. Would definitely return and plan to. Would definitely recommend to groups of all ages!

Anniversary!

I had the lobster special and there was plenty of lobster which I appreciated but I had 3 small potatoes and the corn was mushy.
Love the service and love the atmosphere.

Farm Neck has become our destination restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard this summer.
Excellent food, good service and wonderful ambience combine to creat a perfect place for an evening of fine dining.

My wife and I were impressed with the Farm Neck Cafe on our first night dining out in several months. The setting is lovely, peaceful and green, and the marquee provides a handsome open-air shelter. Tables are very well spaced. Our service was prompt and attentive. The menu and wine list are limited but offer a nice mix of choices. Our plates were ravioli with shrimp and cod loin with potatoes gratin and asparagus sides. Both were excellent, though ordering asparagus out of season was probably not wise. The seating area was almost full when we arrived, and the gentle hubbub of people enjoying good food and good company created a festive, convivial mood, unlike the high noise levels of most Vineyard restaurants with enclosed spaces and hard surfaces. The combination of celebratory escape from isolation, a charming setting, tasty dishes, and good service made this a special evening.

Beautiful grounds, as the restaurant is in a golf course. Even though we had dinner in the tent, the ambiance was very nice. Our server was wonderful! But they were out of my first and second choice of entree (of quite a limited menu) the food was ok, but nothing to write home about

Farm Neck Cafe is the best restaurant on the Island. The food is great, parking is easy, and the service is prompt and very friendly. It is by far our favorite place it eat, other than at home.

Beautiful setting for a meal - good service, excellent hospitality. We ate three dinners here during our 2 weeks in MV and enjoyed each one.
