Set in a restored 1890 barn just minutes from Sunday River, it blends ski-town comfort with cellar-level credibility. Candlelight, high beams, and a room built for lingering, not rushing. Thai chili cauliflower is a fan favorite. Fresh oysters, scallop risotto, and local fish “your way” give depth without feeling fussy. Modern Barn drinks like a wine bar with something to prove. The Wine Spectator award list runs deep, with 175+ bottles and all available by the glass. Martinis have become a local ritual, Service runs on neighborly instinct.     My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience at Bretton Arms! The beautiful, intimate atmosphere and rich history made our evening feel truly special. Our server was attentive and had a great sense of humor, while the host brought the area’s history to life with fascinating stories. We appreciate the care Omni has taken to preserve such a historic gem. This resort has become my favorite place and will always hold a special place in my heart. We can’t wait to return!

    What a lovely place! The measured improvements at The Wentworth are worth taking in. The service was superb. Waitress wonderful and highly personable manager stopped by for a chat. Effort was superior and would highly recommend. Food: somewhere between a B/B-, wedding tent noise was loud.
