Food is always excellent. Started with the clam chowder which is outstanding. Richard had the salt and pepper shrimp which really doesn't have all that much salt and pepper on them. It still is excellent for my main course. I had the large order of fried oysters the best in the business in my opinion. Richard had the brioche coated cod which is very good. If you think about brioche you think of things like croissants or brioche bread? This was actually like a brioche bread crumb. Very good. It made the fish very moist. For dessert, we did the butterscotch pudding which is probably the best I've ever had anywhere, but got it is absolutely decadent. Richard decided to just do the chocolate ice cream but of course he was digging into my pudding as well too. Again, another excellent meal. These guys definitely have hit their stride and probably one of the best seafood restaurants around. It definitely is a meeting place. Generally, the crowd on average is quite a bit younger and the way the restaurant is situated it can get very noisy because you don't have much of sound attenuation, but that's fine

First timers and loved all of it. Food was amazing. Definitely would go again.

The restaurant bakes its own bread. Fresh,beautiful crust, full of flavor and enhanced by their Italian olive oil. Our appetizers were tasty and our entrees were delicious and balanced. Their mushroom risotto was divine.

Everything was great at Black and Blue Steak and Crab last night. Service was attentive, but didn't pressure us at all, even when we were the last ones in the restaurant. Food of course was top notch. I had the filet with brandy peppercorn sauce on the side and my friend had the scallops. We loved them both.
