From its humble beginnings in the quaint Hudson River town of Piermont, New York, Olar was known for serving up rustic Neapolitan pies, classic Spanish tapas, and hand crafted pastas that drew in both locals and foodies from all parts of New Jersey, upstate New York, and New York City and kept them coming back for over a decade.Now in its new location in Northvale, New Jersey, the restaurant, now known as Olar Noso - which means "our home" in Galego, the language spoken in Galicia where the Dominguez family is from - is an evolution in not only name alone.They have managed to scale the restaurant concept generously while replicating the quality and preserving the reputation the former Olar had garnered over the years. Evolving into Olar Noso meant giving Olar's loyal customers everything they loved, while also enhancing their experience with more seating, more elbow room, a full bar, a private event space, and, finally, ample parking.

FARM’s Chef Renè Xelo, who has been with the restaurant since its inception in 2016, has curated a casual dining experience influenced by the many notable purveyors from across the Hudson Valley, best known for fresh produce, sustainably sourced seafood, and delectable bread and pastries. FARM’s thoughtful culinary concept evokes the local experience of gathering together in a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy great food and drinks. The massive ceiling-to-floor windows offer diners beautiful views of the outside patio while inside, guests are surrounded by colorful artwork created by local artists from the tri-state area.The bar program will offer delightful wines, from some of the oldest vineyards in the country, as well as locally brewed bourbons and ales. Bourbon Blackberry Collins, with Black Dirt bourbon (fresh from nearby Orange County), lemon juice, and agave, is a great way to start off the evening.

    I love, love, love this place! Host is awesome when you walk in. Tables are neatly arranged and comfortable. Yhe music is always great. The food is simply outstanding. Started off with the meatballs and duck cannoli. Then we did the bone marrow rigatoni which is a must do. So glad to see it on the regular menu. I had the short rib special with the grilled asparagus. Simply delicious. You cannot skimp on dessert. The stickabutta pie is also a must do and we had the blueberry lemon swirl which was outrageous.

    Service was excellent. Avery was excellent, also Matteo and other staff very nice. Menu is a little limited. Overall, lovely dinner.

    We went for 4th July. We had 8pm reservations - valet was great. Food was amazing - our server was excellent - will def be back soon.

    This is a very good restaurant, we enjoy it every time we go here. We did it a little differently tonight with a couple of appetizers and of course the Spanish chips, but my wife had a salad for dinner, and I ordered a pizza as opposed to an entrée. But as I said, everything is delicious and we love this place.
