Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line.  The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibes to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm.We apply a 6% Kitchen Admin Fee to all checks that exclusively benefits our Back of House staff, who by MA law may not be included in the tip pool.

    Amazing food coupled with service to please! Luis and Jose were perfect stewards of this gem of a restaurant. We loved the premise of sharing all of our selections. Though hard to choose just a few for the 2 of us. We decided on lobster arancini (yummmm), fried artichokes (so good), house salad with amazing a creamy garlic dressing and finally the branzino red/white/green. Everything was beyond delicious. We rarely get dessert but affogato was in order. The best dining experience. So sorry we don’t live nearby (FL) because we would be regulars for sure. Thanks again to Luis. You are the quintessential front man for a restaurant of this caliber 😊

    Bar Vlaha is phenomenal from the start to finish! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality made us feel like family (shout out to Jorge our wonderful server)! The food was outstanding—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared (and so thoughtful about an allergy at our table). The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of authentic Mediterranean charm, making it the perfect place for both a casual dinner and a special celebration. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had a great experience. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine made with high-quality ingredients and served with exceptional service, Bar Vlaha is an absolute gem.
