I hosted a team dinner at Morton's, and overall it was a wonderful evening. Our servers, David and his colleague, were incredibly attentive from start to finish. They greeted me warmly, took the time to ask about my guests, walked me through their wine package, and thoughtfully began each course with me before moving on to the rest of the team, a small touch of hospitality that did not go unnoticed. There were a few moments of slower service throughout the evening, though I suspect that was outside of their control and not a reflection of their effort. For appetizers, we enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare, scallops, and the smashed cauliflower, which was a great accommodation for our last-minute vegetarian guests. One note: we requested the scallops without bacon, but they still carried a noticeable bacon flavor, so that may be worth a closer look in the kitchen. For our entrées, the table enjoyed a wonderful spread, including the Miso Glazed Sea Bass, Ora King Salmon, several steaks, and the Vegetarian Ravioli. Dessert was a highlight, the bread pudding and crème brûlée were both absolutely divine. Thank you to David and the team for taking such great care of our group. We would happily return.
