This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    The time to wait, getting to the table, getting seated, the Service, and the overall price was fabulous. I asked for my mahi-mahi to be blackened, and I asked for asparagus instead of broccolini due to allergy. Amazing.

    We took our 80 year old neighbor for a late lunch to celebrate his birthday. Our table was ready immediately and our server, Carson, was wonderfully patient. We all enjoyed our meals, the chicken strawberry salad, shrimp tacos, and a crabcake sandwich. The seasoned fries were awesome. Our neighbor enjoyed his birthday teacake and we split the strawberry crunch cheesecake which was phenomenal. One piece filled us both up. Nothing could have been better, a thumbs up to the Coldwater.

    we were a last minute reservation of 10 . I was fearful that that would not take that large of a group at 8:30pm. We were greeted with smiles and shown our table immediately. Our waiter Dave could have been over whelmed but he was able to keep cool and carry on. My salmon salad with silvered almonds and candied walnuts was perfect with a cold chardonnay. Everyone's meals all were delivered at the same time. It was a perfect meal for a family reunion.
