Perfect local restaurant. Feels like fine dining but amongst friends. Can’t wait to go back.

I always enjoy a good meal down the shore and Rum Runner provided that, plus a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy it. We were seated at the windows overlooking the river. The waitress was friendly and courteous during our meal. We chose the buratta flatbed appetizer, which was delicious and generous for 2 people. We then had the seafood risotto, which again, was delicious with several chunks of lobster, scallops, and shrimp atop a mound of creamy risotto, which had the perfect texture. We finished with the flour less chocolate cake and the toll house pie. Both were so satisfying without being overly sweet. Truly a meal to be remembered.

the restaurant is beautiful. The service was impeccable. I had oysters, and the rib eye steak, both delicious. The cocktail Cosmopolitan was yummy. My fiends had the lamb riblets and the ahi tuna and were very pleased with their dinner.
