There were 4 of us dining Friday evening (june5th)for a friends birthday . Our server Jackie M was amazing very personable. She checked on us a number of times and we wanted for nothing . I must say the chocolate martini was one of the best I've ever had ( except when I make them lol) the atmosphere was beautiful , we were seated in one of the rooms off the main dining room . We've dined here before and was never in this room . I'd really consider this room if I was having a small party . Let's get to the meal , the calamari was delicious very tender that melted on your mouth . There was not a single chewy piece of. ( the best I've ever had was in congress hall in cape may which I still remember vividly as I will remover yours also ) My friend said the beet salad was deli. All our steaks were cooked to perfection. The onions were amazing, top notch and flavorful . The lobster tail was one of the best I've ever eaten Sweet and delicious . I'll always remember. 3 desserts were ordered The bread pudding was fantastic especially the banana ice cream . Tasted exactly how I prepare banana ice cream at home . The other desserts were taken home by my friends. I must say we've dined at Steakhouse 85 a number of times and always was superb from start to finish . The service was great and the food was delicious. We did the Sunday Brunch which is a self serve with a variety of cold and hot foods from breakfast, lunch, salads, seafood, fruits, vegetables, Omelette table, and so much more. Great for the family, group of friends, or even a solo adventure. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The entire experience was wonderful and worthy of every penny spent.

My friends and I chose La Pergola for lunch before seeing Westside Story at The Paper Mill Playhouse. We sat outside in the garden. It was a beautiful day and the perfect choice for lunch. The waiter was attentive and accommodating. He offered suggestions that made the experience even more pleasurable. We all had salads that were delicious. I had salmon on mine and it was truly one of the best pieces of salmon I ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

This was one of the best meals that i have had in NJ in a very long time. All of the plates were very well put together & we were impressed.

I came here with my family to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day. With the new rewards program I got a $50 certificate. How wonderful. We must be so lucky that the restaurant was very quiet when we arrived. We were in an out in an hour, which is unheard of. Ashley our server and Estuardo our chef were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The restaurant needs a big upgrade. But as long as my meal is good I am ok with that.
